โ๏ธ Well, summer is here! โ๏ธ (although good ol' UK - it's raining today!)
School holidays and family time have arrived, and I know some of you have been wondering whether to press pause on Slimming World until the autumnโฆ
As a fellow member (not a Consultant), let me share my advice from the heart:
Please, donโt.
We join Slimming World with a dream โ a dream of feeling healthier, lighter, and more confident.
Slimming World isnโt just a diet โ itโs a complete change in how we think about food. Food Optimising is something we can stick to, more or less, for life.
Taking long breaks can make that dream feel further away. It can undo so much progress and leave us feeling disappointed and back at square one โ and none of us want that!
Yes, enjoy your holidays! Absolutely book your time out of group (so no back fees), but come back the very next week you can. Donโt stay away.
Bring the kids along if you need to โ itโs the school holidays, we get it! The most important thing is to keep going. Youโll thank yourself for it later.

And if those donโt work for you โ try another group! I've often weighed in at other groups if I've been away. Your membership card work in any group in the UK. I've even found groups for members on holiday in Cyprus!! Just donโt give up on your dream.
๐ฏ Make it your summer challenge: stay connected, stay on plan as much as possible, and keep the dream alive. Imagine where you could be by Christmas if you keep going through the summer! ๐
