A lovely afternoon spent colouring our banners ready for tomorrow’s VE Day celebrations. The residents enjoyed chatting about their own memories of VE Day parties many years ago. It was so lovely hearing their stories of neighbours coming together, everyone bringing their own food and sharing what little they had.

They spoke about the singing, dancing, street parties and the wonderful community spirit. You could see the smiles on their faces as they remembered such special times. What precious memories to share together ❤️

A lovely morning spent with the pet therapy dog Lana 🐶💕 Thank you Sandy for bringing her in to visit us. The residents absolutely love seeing her, especially having cuddles with those big soft ears. It’s wonderful to see the smiles and hear the laughter these visits bring to everyone.

As it’s Pet Therapy Month, visits like these are extra special and remind us just how much comfort, happiness, and companionship animals can bring ❤️

lovely visit from Wilbur today 🐾 Rocky spent the morning with Denise, while Wilbur made his rounds with Karen and me, visiting all the residents.

There’s something so special about these visits — the smiles, the cuddles, and the joy they bring to everyone. The residents and the staff absolutely love their time with them 💛

Even more perfect as this month celebrates pet therapy — and we can certainly see just how much of a difference it makes!
