The care home has en-suite bedrooms, a pub, a bistro cafe, a hair salon and a pamper suite. Care staff have built strong connections with the local community; residents enjoy participating in local events in and around Wisbech. Residents enjoy daily home-cooked meals presented to restaurant standards. The highly trained care team is available around the clock to provide personal care and support.

🎙️ Tour de Lyncroft – Day 10 Update! 🚴‍♀️💨

What a stage it’s been, folks! Two new riders have joined the peloton, taking us to a grand total of 67 riders – and together we’ve smashed through 1170kms so far! 🔥

At the front, “Rocket Jodie” blasts further ahead with 141.5kms – she’s untouchable! 🚀
In 2nd, “Joyrider Jane” is still holding her ground on 92.8kms, while “Flogging-a-Dead-Horse Adam” clings onto 3rd with 77kms 🐴😂.

“Never-Say-Die Anita” keeps spinning at 71.3kms, but there’s danger coming from behind… 🌙✨
In the dead of night, “Silent Assassin Sanil” has crept up to 57.1kms, with “Dynamo Donna” hot on his wheel at 56kms! 🚴‍♀️💥

⚠️ Watch your backs, Jane, Adam, and Anita… the dark horses are closing in fast! 🏁👀

🎶✨ What a fantastic afternoon we’ve had at Lyncroft! A huge thank you to the incredibly talented Emily Blake for filling our home with beautiful songs and smiles – you were simply amazing! 💜

We’re also excited to introduce our newest Wellbeing team member, Tracey! 🎉 She’s already bringing bundles of energy (and we hear she can’t resist a boogie, especially when ABBA comes on 🕺💃). We’re so happy to have her join our family! 💕

🚴‍♂️ Tour de Lyncroft – Day 9 Update! 🚴‍♀️

What. A. Shake-up! The leaderboard has been turned upside down and inside out today… and we LOVE it!

👑 Jodie – The Comeback Queen has officially smashed her way into the history books with our very first century ride, blasting ahead to 126.1kms. She’s not pedalling… she’s flying. 🚀

⛰️ Jane – The Steady Climber has pulled off the upset of the day, storming her way into 2nd place with 92.8kms. The peloton didn’t see that one coming, and Jane’s left them all eating her dust.

🐴 Meanwhile, poor Adam – Flogging a Dead Horse – still stuck on 77kms – looks like he’s pedalling squares while everyone else is gliding past. The man might need a tow rope at this point! 😂

⚡ Anita – The Silent Assassin is biding her time in 4th, no doubt sharpening her pedals for a comeback of her own.

🌍 Best of all, with 65 riders on the clock, we’ve FINALLY smashed the halfway mark of our epic journey – now at a mighty 1119.52kms. That’s halfway to glory, halfway to bragging rights, and halfway to very tender legs!

The Tour de Lyncroft… bringing drama, banter, and a healthy dose of chaos since Day 1 🚴🔥.

🚴‍♂️ Tour de Lyncroft – Day 8 🚴‍♀️

What. A. Day. The peloton has been shaken, stirred, and spun like a dodgy wheel on the cobbles of Lyncroft!

👑 Jodie – The Comeback Queen – has stormed her way to the yellow jersey with a colossal 85.9kms. She’s officially the one to beat (and possibly the one to blame for everyone’s sore legs tomorrow).

💪 Adam – The Machine – now grinding it out in 2nd place on 77kms. Still steady, still deadly, but will he shift up a gear or let the Queen ride away with it?

⚡ Anita – The Silent Assassin – holding firm in 3rd with 65.8kms, but don’t be fooled by her quiet pedalling – she’s always plotting her next attack.

🌪️ Janusz – The One-Man Storm – Anita’s husband has entered the race with the subtlety of a thunderclap, hammering out 52kms in ONE sitting. The man doesn’t ride… he demolishes kilometres. Straight into 4th like he’s been here all along.

👸 Elizebeth – The Pedal Princess – still resting her royal legs 👑. Is she biding her time for a late sprint, or just enjoying her crown while everyone else sweats it out? Time will tell!

Day 8 ends with drama, banter, and legs like jelly – and we wouldn’t have it any other way 🚴‍♀️😂.

🍪 Baking Club Fun! 🍪

On Wednesday, our Baking Club rolled up their sleeves and got creative in the kitchen! We had a great time mixing, shaping, and of course tasting our delicious homemade shortbread. 😋

There were lots of laughs, lovely smells, and plenty of flour — just the way we like it! A big well done to everyone who took part. 🧁👏

We can’t wait for our next baking session… any guesses on what we’ll make next?

🐾 Look Who Came to Visit Today! 🐾

We had the absolute joy of welcoming our beloved therapy dogs, Rocky and Wilbur, back today! 🐶❤️

With their wagging tails and calming presence, they brought so many smiles, cuddles, and moments of comfort to everyone they met. These two truly know how to lift spirits and make any day brighter!

A big thank you to AJ Coggles Family Funeral Directors for spreading so much love and positivity. We can't wait to see them again soon! 🐾💕

Tour de Lyncroft – Day 7 LIVE

And we’re off! Adam is storming ahead with 77 km on the board, leading the pack with impressive speed and stamina. But look at that – Jodie is hot on his tail in second with 58.1 km, pushing hard and refusing to let that lead slip!

New riders in the peloton today are shaking things up. Elizabeth is battling a sore saddle and has had a quick pit stop for first aid—tough break, but she’s back in the saddle. And Tanya? She’s multitasking like a champion, keeping her balance while handling a flurry of other tasks—absolutely impressive!

The tension is electric as the riders push into the final stretch. Will Adam hold strong, or will Jodie make a daring move to take the lead? Stay tuned, because this race is far from over!

🚌☕ Coffee, Cake & a Bit of Farming History! 🍰🚜

This afternoon’s minibus outing took us to Brothers in arms for a cosy catch-up over coffee and cake — and what a lovely spot it was! The warm drinks and sweet treats were thoroughly enjoyed by all. ☕🍰💛

While we were there, residents couldn’t help but notice the fascinating farming tools displayed on the ceiling — a real talking point that sparked some great memories and conversations! 🛠️👩‍🌾

A wonderful mix of good company, delicious refreshments, and a touch of local heritage made for a perfect morning out.

🚌🌸 A Lovely Morning Out 🌸🚌

This morning, some of our residents enjoyed a relaxing trip on the mini bus to Rachael's Plant Outlet . We had a gentle browse around the beautiful flowers and displays—so much colour and inspiration everywhere! 🌼🌿

Afterwards, we sat down for a warm drink and a chat in the café—such a lovely way to spend time together. ☕🧁

On the way back, we took a scenic Memory Lane drive through Elm, Friday Bridge, Coldham, and Guyhirn, which brought back some wonderful memories and familiar sights for a few of our residents. 🏡💭

A peaceful and heartwarming morning all round. 💛

Staying active is a big part of supporting both physical and mental wellbeing, and we're so proud of everyone for taking part and moving together. 🧘‍♂️💃

A great evening with our St John’s Ambulance cadets – a real team effort with 6KM added to our Tour tally! 💪👏

We also kicked off a brand-new subject tonight: First Aid Awareness 🩹❤️ A brilliant mix of pedalling power and lifesaving learning!
