The care home has en-suite bedrooms, a pub, a bistro cafe, a hair salon and a pamper suite. Care staff have built strong connections with the local community; residents enjoy participating in local events in and around Wisbech. Residents enjoy daily home-cooked meals presented to restaurant standards. The highly trained care team is available around the clock to provide personal care and support.

Yesterday we had the most wonderful Christmas party! 🎄✨ We were treated to fantastic entertainment by the amazing Emily Blake, enjoyed a delicious buffet 🥪🍰, and danced the afternoon away 💃🕺. The room was full of laughter, music, and festive cheer, and it’s safe to say everyone had an absolutely brilliant time! 🎶🎅❤️

A BIG thank you to Emily Blake - Singer , our kitchen staff who made the buffet, all the families and staff that joined us for the afternoon and thank you to The Mayor Of Wisbech for joining us.

🗓️ DAY 21: 🚨 URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE CULINARY DEPARTMENT... AGAIN! 🚨
Sir Snugglecroft has struck again—and his appetite for gingerbread is causing chaos! 🔪
Despite being banned from the kitchen after the Kevin the Carrot incident, he managed to sneak in and execute his original plan: blending a gingerbread man into a "festive protein shake." 🥤
He was caught trying to fasten the lid of the blender while the gingerbread man looked on in horror! Sir Snugglecroft is now on kitchen restriction until Christmas Eve. We'll be sticking to store-bought gingerbread men from now on! 😅

Sir Snugglecroft has struck again—and this time, he’s after the jackpot! 💸
He was caught red-handed, deep in concentration, trying to influence the outcome of the Bonus Ball Lotto. Using a pen twice his size, he decided that every single square needed to be filled out with his name: "Sir Snugglecroft," "SC," or "SNUGS"!
He insists this is just a foolproof betting strategy... we think he just really wants a giant pile of treats! We’ve had to confiscate the pen and the ticket, but he's already planning his next attempt. Wish us luck! 🤞

A massive congratulations to our wonderful Keely, who has officially swum her way to the top this month! 🏆

Keely is an absolutely fantastic carer — calm, caring, reliable and always willing to dive in wherever she’s needed. Nothing ever flounders on her watch, and she’s always ready to reel in a helping hand for residents and colleagues.

We’re so proud of her hard work, dedication and the way she keeps everything running swimmingly here at Lyncroft. 💙

Sir Snugglecroft has struck again—and this time, he's gone rogue! 🔪
We had a very special visitor, Kevin the Carrot from Aldi, who was kindly checking on our Christmas Dinner orders. But Sir Snugglecroft decided Kevin needed a little "shredding" for the festive salad!
He grabbed poor Kevin and held him up against the grater—the evidence of his dastardly deed is on the counter! 😱 Kevin is currently receiving emergency comfort, and Sir Snugglecroft has been told he is strictly banned from all vegetable preparation until further notice!
