👩🏻‍🎓🎓Our fantastic practice educator Michelle has not only been working hard in the unit but at University also. Her hard work has paid off and she recently graduated in a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with special focus on clinical teaching & neonatal simulation.

Well done Michelle, we couldn’t be prouder of your achievement. Enjoy your time celebrating in NYC! 🗽🍎🎓👩🏻‍🎓

Happy 1st birthday Lily-Jean. We hope you have the best day celebrating 🥳

Thank you mummy for the update:
“This is Lily-Jean she was born 11/11/24 at 32+2 by emergency cesarian due to reversal flow in the umbilical cord. Lily-Jean spent 17 days in the neonatal unit where she definently kept the nurses on their toes usually because she pulled out her feeding tube (3 times in 15 mins was her record). Mummy and daddy are happy to report she smashing all her goals and celebrating her 1st birthday today”

What a team 🙌

A big hello from our Community Outreach Team. Care doesn’t always stop when our NICU graduates ring that discharge bell. This team ensure the transition to home is seamless & provide follow up care for the babies & families who need it 👶

Gail who has years of experience working in the neonatal unit & community is the new team leader who had big shoes to fill but they are fitting her very well! Louise who you might recognise from your time in neonatal has joined the team & thriving in her new role. And our OG Fiona (everyone’s favourite island girl) who has worked between neonatal & the community since Wishaw neonatal opened its doors is still going strong & supporting the team 💪

The babies & families of Lanarkshire are so lucky to have such a wealth of knowledge & experience looking after them ❤️
