Tuite Opticians Wishaw is a family run, independent optical practice. Established in 1983. This has given us the space required to take the business forward!

As an independent, family run practice, we recognise only too well that you have an abundance of choice when it comes to choosing an optician. Maintaining our independence and quality of service is at the core of growing our practice. We have been gathering a loyal patient base who have been happy to recommend Tuite Opticians to family and friends alike. It is a hope that anyone we have the honour of serving would do the same, as we strive to achieve a level of excellence that would be appreciated by our patients. In the pursuit of this we invest in staff training and welfare at all levels to ensure that services and eye care that we provide are delivered to a standard exceeding patient’s expectations. Over the past few years we have expanded and have taken over our first floor development. The main objective of the expansion was to offer another "Frame Gallery" offering luxury, designer frames and more recently we have started work on creating a second test room to accommodate our patient base.

Tuite Opticians first opened its doors in Coatbridge in 1973, before expanding to Wishaw in 1983. From starting with zero patients to building the busy, trusted practice we have today, it’s been an incredible journey.

Over the years we’ve faced many of the challenges independent businesses encounter – from large high street competition to changes within the optical industry – but our focus has always remained the same: genuine customer care and personal service.

We are incredibly proud to have welcomed generations of the same families through our doors, caring for patients’ eye health and helping them find the right eyewear over the decades.
