Super proud for our CEO Daniel Wylie to present this month’s Going the Extra Mile Award to our Norfolk Residential Registered Manager Kerry Clough.

We’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Kerry for over a year throughout the process of acquiring The New Boundaries Group in Norfolk, and her dedication to her team, commitment to residents, and open-mindedness to positive change have been nothing short of inspiring.

Kerry’s compassion and leadership truly embody the Calm Futures ethos — and we’re incredibly proud to have her as part of the Calm Futures Family. 💚

🎃🕸️ Halloween Magic at Daniel Kirby House! 👻✨

What an amazing Halloween party we had for the wonderful people we support! There were spooky outfits, tasty food, lots of dancing, laughter and pure joy all around.
Everyone looked absolutely fantastic — we love seeing everyone getting involved, having fun, and making such happy memories together. 🧡 the hand made decorations, cake making and effort everyone has put into to make such a lovely fun filled party, thank you to our amazing Calm Futures team for as always going the extra mile.

We are incredibly proud of three amazing women from our Shalimar team who graduated from university last month - a huge milestone worth celebrating!

Yaisa our deputy manager had the honour of attending Chidis graduation, a truly special moment.

Going the Extra Mile Award

Just before Calm Futures acquired the New Boundaries Care Group, one of our cherished residents sadly lost her battle with cancer.

At that time, the home was not yet part of Calm Futures, but Kim showed incredible compassion, love, and absolute devotion — the very qualities anyone would hope to see if it were their own family being cared for.

For these reasons, it feels only right and truly deserving that Kim is recognised with this award.

Earlier this year Nicky shared a heartfelt wish, to go on holiday for her birthday- and she wanted her housemate Jodie to come too.
With the support of her family and incredible efforts of Lemara and Cindy, her support workers, that dream came true.
Destination: Dorset
Why? Clubhouse and beaches, 2 of Nickys favourite things!

This was also Jodies first holiday ever! A huge milestone shared with friends building trust and bonds.
Nickys joy in navigating the steps and beach is clear.
Back home these ladies are smashing life skills, cooking, building furniture, gardening and budgeting. Jodie starts college next month too!
It wasn't just a holiday, it was celebrating resilience, growth and person centred care.

We’re delighted to welcome Roxy to the Calm Futures family as Registered Manager for Supported Living in Essex.

Roxy brings 15 years of experience in the care sector, having started her career straight from school. She quickly progressed to Team Leader and ultimately to Registered Manager, demonstrating her passion and commitment to providing outstanding care.

Having spent her entire career within one organisation, Roxy was inspired by the incredible work Calm Futures is doing and is thrilled to be joining us — alongside three of her former colleagues, Alan, Mandy, and Sabrina.

Welcome to the team, Roxy — we’re excited to see the positive impact you’ll bring to our services and the people we support.
