Fully booked ☺️

January has now completely filled up and I’m honestly so grateful.

If you were looking for support, don’t panic. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is typically short-term, so I don’t work with clients for very long and spaces tend to open up fairly often.

💌 Feel free to message me and I can add you to my waiting list or I’m always happy to recommend another Solution Focused practitioner who I trust and feel would suit you.

Are we sitting down for these? 😬

🧠 Your brain is wired to care what other people think - even when those people aren’t good for you.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄, 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 = 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆.

🧠 Our brains evolved to stay connected to the tribe, because once upon a time being rejected literally meant danger.

So when someone pulls away, disapproves or misunderstands us, the amygdala lights up like it’s a threat… even if logically you know, ‘this person isn’t right for me anyway.’

Add in dopamine (seeking approval), attachment patterns and a nervous system that hates uncertainty - and suddenly letting go feels way harder than it ‘should.’ 😔

🔄 But here’s the reframe:

Caring doesn’t mean you’re weak.
Struggling to detach doesn’t mean you’re failing.

👉 It means your brain is doing what it learned to do.

The work isn’t forcing yourself not to care. It’s about teaching your nervous system that you are safe without their validation.

And once safety comes back online… clarity follows ✨

We live in what I call an ‘Amazon Prime Era.’

Where we have this expectation that everything happens immediately or at least overnight.

But change takes time, especially if what you’re hoping to change has been part of you for such a long time.

We can certainly do things that create positive pathways in our brain that make us feel good in the process.

🧠 But neuroscience research suggests that it take 21 days for a habit to change but to really cement that change it takes at least 60 days.

That’s not to say that the journey you need to take should be a negative one!

When I work with my clients, we look at making small, implementable steps that we can take towards our goal. Combining this with repetition and hypnosis helps cement these changes and habits further.

And we look at doing this in a fun way too! 🙃

💌 My diary for January is quickly filling up but if you want to learn more about how we can work together to help you achieve your goals in 2026, drop me a message.

If doing something new is making your anxiety spike… this is your reminder 👆

We’re so quick to assume confidence should come first… but biologically, safety comes first.

Confidence is built 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 your brain learns it’s okay here.

So if you’re trying something new and your inner voice is loud…
➡️ You’re not failing.
➡️ You’re learning.

And learning can feel a bit wobbly at first.

If you want support that helps calm the stress response, quiet the mental noise, and make change feel safer (instead of overwhelming), that’s exactly where Solution Focused Hypnotherapy comes in.
