We are so incredibly proud to share this! 🌟

Yesterday, we was awarded Highly Commended for Dementia Homecare Provider of the Year at the UK Dementia Awards 2026, and honestly, we are still a little lost for words.

Up against some truly amazing competition of equally dedicated and valuable homecare providers, being awarded this recognition means so much to us. So much of what makes our service what it is happens quietly, behind the scenes, and moments like this are a beautiful reminder of why we do it.

This recognition belongs to every single person who is part of the In Friendship family. To our office team who work tirelessly to keep everything running, and to our wonderful carers who show up every single day with warmth, dedication and compassion for every client in their care. You are what makes us special.

To our clients and their families, thank you for trusting us. And to our whole team, thank you for everything you give. 🧡💙

🎉 We are absolutely thrilled to share that In Friendship has been named a Finalist at the UK Dementia Awards 2026 in the category of Dementia Homecare Provider of the Year!

This recognition means the world to us. None of it would have been possible without our amazing team of carers, who turn up every single day with compassion, patience, and genuine love for the people they support. We are also so grateful to our wonderful clients and their families for trusting us with their care. It really is a privilege we never take for granted.

Tomorrow we head to the awards ceremony and we honestly can't wait. To every other finalist out there, we see the incredible work you do and we're rooting for all of you. 🌟

💙🧡 What a week it's been at In Friendship ❄️🥶

As the first full week of 2026 draws to a close, we wanted to share a few highlights from our busy team...

We've had the pleasure of welcoming some wonderful new clients into the In Friendship family – it's always such a privilege to begin these relationships and we're looking forward to supporting you.

We've also been catching up with our existing clients after the Christmas break, helping with changes to care plans and making sure everyone's settled back into their routines.

Like everyone else, we spent part of the week preparing for the "big storm" that was forecast... which then decided not to show up! Better safe than sorry though.

We've been getting out and about with our clients no matter the weather – a bit of frost isn't going to stop us! There's nothing quite like a brisk walk followed by popping to the local cafe for a hot drink to warm up. We even had a visit from some local wildlife – a peacock decided to stop by and say hello at the window! 🦚

And finally... we may have briefly misplaced a client’s furry friend in this week's fog 🐶😅 Don't worry – they were retrieved safe and sound! A gentle reminder that this weather can be tricky for all of us, including dogs 😊
