Jess Aumonier - Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant, West Oxfordshire

Jess Aumonier - Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant, West Oxfordshire I am an independent Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant, based in Witney, Oxfordshire. Please email jaumoniercwp@live.co.uk to arrange a meeting! Tadaaa!

I am based in Witney, Oxfordshire and after successfully losing weight on this plan myself, I really want to help other men and women around the local area to feel as great as I do, achieve their weight loss and health goals and hopefully change their eating habits for good. I am easily accessible to people from Witney, North Leigh, Long Hanborough, Eynsham, Carterton, Burford, Crawley, Finstock,

Charlbury, Bampton and all other local villages. After years of struggling with my weight and feeling utterly miserable, I decided to give the Cambridge Weight Plan a bash, after my friend had recommended it to me. I'd tried various diets in the past to try and re-educate myself in the way I looked at food, but was always unsuccessful as it was just too easy to stray from the plan. I wasn't being taught anything for the long-term! Cambridge and its strict routine and convenience worked well for me and really helped me to start a fresh, wipe the slate clean and totally re-educate myself about food, exercise and keeping up a healthy lifestyle. It is truly an amazing, life altering programme and after spending years as a size 18, I am now a slim size 12 and happy! I run a totally personal, private, FREE of charge and very friendly service. No group meetings/weigh-ins or having to meet me in a cold, impersonal office environment! My working hours are as follows:
MONDAYS: 5:30pm - 6pm
TUESDAYS: 5:30pm - 6pm
WEDNESDAYS: 5:30pm - 6pm
SUNDAYS: 11:00am - 6pm
I allow 10-15 minute slots for each clients weekly visit (with exception of your first consultation which will last approx. 45 mins).

General information

The Cambridge Weight Plan stems from the early 1960's when Dr Alan Howard, then a research scientist at the University of Cambridge, developed an interest in overweight and obesity. He began to investigate methods of weight reduction, using himself as one of the guinea pigs. Together with Dr Ian McLean-Baird of the West Middlesex Hospital, in 1968 he organised a National Symposium on Obesity, the first ever held in the UK. They went on to collaborate and develop what they regarded as the’ perfect diet’. With Dr McLean-Baird, Alan Howard set up a research project at the West Middlesex Hospital. What they wanted to achieve was the creation of a formula food with: Excellent weight loss properties, but no undesirable side effects The right level of protein to protect lean tissue The right level of carbohydrate to promote a mild ketosis and eliminate a sense of hunger The right levels of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential fatty acids to maintain good health The first formula produced excellent weight loss results, and further work by food technologists enhanced flavours and led to the first commercial version of the Cambridge Weight Plan (originally called The Cambridge Diet). The effectiveness and safety of this revised formula was tested both in hospital and with outpatients... ...and led to the Plan becoming more available in obesity clinics in London and Cambridge. Long-term safety was assessed and confirmed by further independent research in the UK, the USA and across Europe. The Cambridge Weight Plan was launched (under the name the Cambridge Diet) in the UK in 1984.
