Finding ways to support our health doesn’t have to be difficult or confusing, just go back to what our great grandparents would have eaten. Choose single ingredient foods first : grass fed meats, wild fish, raw dairy, locally grown fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds. This….is why I love supporting local farming. My beautiful CSA box arrived yesterday and I couldn’t be more pleased.

After going to the grocery store and seeing that a lot of the produce wasn’t available and feeling a bit deflated, I was reminded why supporting local is so very important right now and will for for years to come.

We need to reconnect to the land and the people growing our food, stop giving the big grocery stores our hard earned money. If we do this, then we will continue to have delicious regenerative food available to us and our children for years to come.

When you think you don’t have enough room to grow your own veggies and then you come out with over 50 potatoes from only a 30x30 cm raised bed 💥💥💥

I always get so excited when I see what is possible from a small back garden. Knowing that we are eating fresh produce right from our back garden without the use of any sprays or chemicals, this is true happiness 🥰🥰

The Garden is starting to produce some lovely veg for us now ❤️❤️ My favourite part about having our own raised beds is that I get to see them grow from a small little seed to a beautiful full grown plant 🌱

If you are wondering, I don’t have a very big back garden but we are still able to grow around 8-10 different varieties of plants and a few fruits as well. So just give it a go whatever size garden you have, just have fun with it.

I would love to hear about what you are growing this year and what you are seeing flourish 🤩

I often hear from clients that the idea of cooking is very overwhelming, or they just don’t like cooking. I think there are so many recipes out there that use lots of ingredients or we think that our meal needs to look as beautiful as theirs so we don’t even attempt to try the recipe.

My advice is always to keep it simple, ensure you are getting good quality protein, healthy fats, fibre and different colours in your meal. This is the way to approach health and wellness. No judgement, no need to take pictures of what you are eating (even though I am right now 🤣). Just make what you know in your heart is healthy for your family. Real food that grows from the ground, or eats what grows from the ground. No unknown ingredients ❤️❤️❤️

The moments in life when we can pause, nurture and nourish our bodies with living foods ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Green cold pressed juices are an amazing way to give the body vitamins, minerals and live enzymes while allowing the digestive system to have a break. We use a lot of energy to break down our foods, so when we can add in some healing pre- digested nutrition our body truly thanks us.
