Christmas is almost upon us!

In the whirlwind of the next few days, to take a moment to think about what your children will really value and appreciate this Christmas - perhaps that is receiving gifts, but they may also deeply appreciate special time spent with you, receiving plenty of hugs, or just that feeling of being looked after and cared for.

We're going to be taking a break over the next few weeks, to spend time with our loved ones and enjoy the magic of the festive season. We hope wherever in the world you are, you have a wonderful time with your families and friends.

Today is , a global observance dedicated to promoting and celebrating acts of kindness! As parents, it is natural to be kind to our children, but we should also take every opportunity to remember to be kind to ourselves! 🫶

Today, we're celebrating ⭐️World Children's Day⭐️, a perfect opportunity for us to stop for a moment and recognise everything that children bring into our lives, our communities, and our world.
We decided to mark the day by sharing something we've each learnt from being a parent:

⭐️Elanor: "DO spare the rod, and DO spoil the child! You can never give your children too much love. Don't ever think you need to hold back from showering them with affection, telling them every single moment how much you love and cherish them, and how much they matter to you. They will never suffer from being loved with abundance."

⭐️Adam: “People you can trust make you feel safe. They respect your freedom to choose, take turns in everything, share fairly, keep their promises, listen to you and share their thoughts and feelings honestly with you. So treat your children in this way (and expect the same back!!!)”

⭐️ Lisa: “Children have taught me that they have pure trust, love and acceptance, that I should completely open my heart loving them, that I must give and receive unconditionally, and that even when they grow up they still need love and reassurance.”
