This March, we are offering free 20-minute Myofascial Release taster sessions for people experiencing chronic long-term pain.
This is an opportunity to meet our level 4 massage therapist, Jennie, talk through your condition, and explore whether myofascial release could be a supportive next step for you.
In this treatment, Jennie will work with the connective tissue ‘the fascia’.
When healthy, fascia allows our muscles to slide and glide, helping us move with ease and comfort.
However, inactivity, repetitive movement habits, posture, injury, surgery, chronic stress, and overactivity can cause areas of fascia to become gummy, sticky, and over time, restricted or even fibrotic. These restrictions can contribute to ongoing pain and limited movement.
Some of the conditions clients have experienced relief from include:
• Hip pain
• Lower back pain
• Leg pain
• Shoulder pain
• Pelvic pain
• TMJ
• Chronic headaches
