The session will take place on 21st May, 2:00–3:30pm, and will offer helpful information, guidance, and the opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

This event is open to everyone in the community, so please feel free to come along or share with anyone who may be interested.

With the weather forecast showing a beautiful hot day, we decided this morning to make the most of it with a spontaneous garden party 🌞

It may have been last minute, but it turned into such a lovely afternoon! Residents enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine with music playing, plenty of laughter, and a fantastic selection of refreshing cocktails specially prepared by our talented Head Chef Emma 🍹

From fruity favourites to classic mixes, there was something for everyone as we sat back, socialised, and enjoyed the warm weather together.

Some of our gents recently had a wish… to go to a football match ⚽️

Our lovely gentlemen are massive footy fans, so we reached out to Polythene UK, proud sponsors of Oxford United, who very kindly gifted us tickets to watch the game from a box!

Our residents had the most wonderful time – they came back chanting, cheering and full of stories about their day. It was truly magical to see them light up and relive those special moments.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, choosing colours and adding their own personal touches. These will soon be filled with fresh flowers or seasonal plants, bringing a little piece of spring into their rooms 🌿

A very special moment at Millers Grange 💜

Jean recently shared a heartfelt wish with our Home Manager – that Molly, our Lifestyle Lead, should have a birthday cake of her own while working on her birthday. Jean said Molly is always going above and beyond for both herself and other residents, bringing new ideas, warmth and comfort into the home every day.

At Care UK, resident wishes are incredibly important to us. Whether big or small, they help ensure every resident continues to feel valued, heard and able to shape their life here. Wishes can be shared with any team member or added to our Wish Tree in reception.

When the moment came, Jean was so happy and emotional, thanking everyone for making her wish come true – it truly meant the world to her 🥹
