Last week we had a wonderful time celebrating Burns Night here at the home 🥁✨

Our residents got involved in the weeks leading up to the day, helping to make decorations and really embracing the Scottish spirit. We were thrilled to welcome a fabulous bagpipe player who helped set the scene and made the afternoon feel extra special.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Head Chef Emma, who prepared a delicious traditional Scottish lunch… complete with the ceremonial stabbing of the haggis by one of our own Scottish residents! 🥄👏

We then enjoyed shortbread and yummy cakes at tea-at-three, surrounded by laughter, music and great company. It was so lovely to spend the afternoon with our residents and their relatives and to share such a joyful celebration together.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special 💙

The new year has certainly started as we mean to go on! ✨
Our residents have been kept busy enjoying a variety of activities — from getting creative with Burns Night colouring, to helping prepare afternoon tea, and spending time flower arranging.

It’s been lovely to see so many smiles, conversations, and moments of togetherness as we begin the year. 💐☕️🎨

Our Residents enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner shared around the table, swapping presents, reminiscing over cherished memories, and sharing hopes for the future. It was a day full of warmth, connection, and the true spirit of Christmas.
