**Advanced Notice of Building works, 17th November 2025**

We have had a report from a patient who received a call from a mobile number ending *1208 saying their GP required information to update their medical records. The call didn't feel right to them so they contacted us and there was no record of any of our staff calling them nor did we recognise the mobile number. Sadly this means this was probably a scam call designed to steal their information. If any of our staff do call you, they should introduce themselves by name and if they ask you for any information they should be able to explain why they need it. Our staff will never ask you for any financial information and if you ever feel uncertain about whether the call is genuine, you can always say you're going to end the call and call the surgery on 01984 623471 to check it was definitely us.
