After 25 incredible years, I am announcing my retirement from diabetes care—a career that has brought me so much pride, purpose, and truly wonderful memories.

It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside such dedicated and inspiring colleagues, all committed to making a real difference in the lives of people living with diabetes across North East Essex. Together, we have built and delivered a service that stands among the very best in England, something I will always be immensely proud of.

I am especially grateful for the strong partnerships we’ve fostered with our Consultants, GP”s, Nurse and Industry colleagues These collaborations have not only strengthened our service but have also made this journey deeply rewarding on both a professional and personal level.

As I step away from this chapter, I do so feeling like I am leaving behind not just a team, but a family.

That said, this is not a goodbye to nursing. I am excited to continue my journey in a new role as Deputy Chief Nurse, where I hope to carry forward the same passion and commitment to patient care.

I am also continuing my Aesthetics and will have more availability 🌟
