CAR PARK NOTICE!!!!!
Wivenhoe High Street Car Park Charges from 6 October 2025
From 6 October 2025, Wivenhoe Town Council is introducing car parking charges to our three car parks at Cooks and on the High Street.
The charges will be payable using the cashless MiPermit system, which is the most cost effective. Please be reassured that if you are unable to use MiPermit with a Smart phone, WTC staff or MiPermit will be able to assist you.
The agreed charges will be:
Day Charge 8am to 6pm All Days
Stay Period Tariff
Up to 30 minutes Free of charge*
Up to 2 hours £2.00
Up to 4 hours £4.00
Wivenhoe Residents Free of charge**
*A ticket for a free of charge stay must be obtained for your vehicle prior to leaving the car park using the MiPermit cashless parking system!

From 6 October 2025, Wivenhoe Town Council is introducing car parking charges to our three car parks at Cooks and on the High Street. Wivenhoe residents will be able to register with NEPP prior to their first use, to be able to park for up to 4 hours free in a 24 hour period.
