๐ฆ The traffic light system is a simple and easy way to help guide your recovery and we regularly use it at JU Physiotherapy for a whole range of conditions:
๐ข Green light (1โ3/10 pain): Mild discomfort is safe โ keep going with your rehab.
๐ Amber light (4โ5/10 pain): Caution โ reduce intensity, adapt exercises.
๐ด Red light (6+/10 pain): Too much โ stop and reassess before continuing.
๐ Listen to your body, stay consistent, and progress at the right pace for long-term results.
