We were delighted to host a garden party in the beautiful Gardens of Remembrance at St Nicholas Church, complete with jazz music (a firm favourite with our residents), Pimm’s, strawberries, and a raffle. Around 50 guests joined us, helping raise £460 for the church - bringing our total donations over the past year to just under £1,000.
Rev Andrew Cowie described the event as “such fun and enjoyed by all who came… and an added bonus” to raise so much for the church, adding that it also helped raise the profile of Birchgrove locally. Our thanks to him and to everyone who made the afternoon so memorable.
