At Stovnerskoghjemmet in Oslo, Norway, 52 seniors received medals for their incredible efforts, and there were tears of joy among cyclists, staff, and family members alike❤️🥇

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 At GalanosHouse in England, the staff see every year how Road Worlds for Seniors brings residents together around a competition and a shared goal. They become truly engaged in the event, starting their training long before it begins and continuing to stay active long after the championship is over.

The biggest effect they observe is that the number of falls in October drops from 12–14 to zero. Out of 101 residents at Galanos House, not a single person fell during that month. That can only be described as a remarkable result✨

In Wales, a new project has been launched to help more older adults living at home become physically active. The project, Actif, used Road Worlds for Seniors as a way to kick-start participation and get people moving 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🚴‍♀️

With a total distance of 4,801.3 kilometers, Bernie became the first-ever English world champion in the men’s category 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆

Kikusui, Otaru and Eniwa represented Japan in the Road Worlds for Seniors. Together with teams from 12 different countries they competed for the world champion title 🇯🇵🥇

Road Worlds for Seniors is a global championship that encourages older adults to become more active than before. At Bourley Grange, more residents are now exercising and socializing thanks to the championship🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🚴‍♀️
