Jikiden Reiki Way

Jikiden Reiki Way Reiki healing for wellness. Reiki is an energy healing practice which originated in Japan in the 1920s by Mikao Usui.

Jikiden Reiki is the only school to openly pass on his original treatments and teachings in the world today. Practitioners let energy or "ki" from all around us flow through them to the receiver, which is said to aid their natural healing process by focusing on the areas where it is needed most. The calming treatments are received on a treatment couch, fully clothed in a relaxing atmosphere, where you can be in the best place to heal, either mentally or physically. Benefits reported are deep relaxation, pain easing and sensations of heat or tingling or a sense of calm. Anyone is able to receive a treatment or learn for themselves. During the Covid lockdown, distance healing is available, but online training is not offered, because it is not possible to pass Reiki on in this way. We rather you wait until it is possible to be face to face again.

I don't teach Reiki for Animals - but it doesn't mean you can't do Reiki for them - here is a great book I recommend if you want to help your furry friends...

Reiki For Animals It is the same Reiki energy but working professionally with animals, especially unknown ones, requires additional knowledge, skills and an understanding of animals. Animals are naturally more aware of and understanding of energy and many seem to openly welcome and accept this calm....

Tooday is National Croissant Day—a perfect excuse to indulge in some flaky, buttery goodness!

30th January also marks the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's assassination in 1948, observed as Martyrs' Day in India. Non violence is one of the world's most important lessons - how one person interacts with another!

Coming up: 1st February brings Imbolc, an ancient Celtic festival marking the halfway point between winter and spring. It’s traditionally associated with Brigid, the goddess of fertility, healing, and poetry.

In Japan, Setsubun is just around the corner on 3rd February, where people throw roasted soybeans to drive away bad spirits and welcome good fortune for the year ahead.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Such a great piece for our JRUKA members, for use in Reiki treatments!

It’s here! We are so delighted to announce the arrival of this year’s JRUKA Christmas present to our members!

SuiRyu (“Suee Reeyou”) translates as Water Dragon. Inspired by the serene, yet powerful resonance of water into harmonic frequencies that deeply affect the human body and spirit, this 92-minute composition is crafted to support Reiki healing sessions. For ease of timing, it’s divided into three 30-minute segments, each marked by the gentle chime of a Tibetan prayer bell. We hope you enjoy this piece as music as we do!
