MoveMindset Many women struggle with the mental load that comes from juggling a career, looking after children and/or older parents.

Wellness and Lifestyle Coaching - move your body - move your mind - helping women who are running on empty to have more energy, momentum and to feel like themselves again. I help them to explore and discover their own unique path to having more energy and feeling their best. What clients discover is that there are often challenges that they are not even aware of which have been preventing them from reaching their goals. Small shifts can then be made, in their mindset, their physical environment or their actions. I am their guide helping them in the exploration process and supporting them through the new path that they find for themselves. Faye Andrews, Founder of Move Mindset, is a Registered Health and Wellbeing Coach at UK and International Health Coaches Association (www.UKIHCA.com), and also a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. She is a facilitator of PCI accredited courses teaching Health and Wellness Coaching to health professionals.

A couple of weeks ago, I ran my first WalkActive Workshop, teaching the fundamentals of the WalkActive technique.

I also teach this over a 4 week course and via 1-1 sessions.

The Workshop format seemed to work well, and the group were able to walk away with the knowledge of the basics, the difference in how it feels, at the end.

I received some lovely feedback "I reckon the small changes you taught are going to make a big difference to how I move, feel and perform!"

We were lucky with the weather, but from my perspective this location lends itself perfectly to teach the session.

Looking forward to delivering my WalkActive Workshop next week.

Set within the lovely Dinton Pastures, the focus is on helping you to move more, to feel more energised and experience all of the benefits that regular exercise can get for you and for your heart health, mental health, glucose management, cognition.

WalkActive is a technique - it isn't about walking more, or walking far (although you can absolutely choose to do that), it is about showing how you can walk better.

Every step we take, over time, has an impact on our breathing, strength, flexibility, balance, foot health, knee health and potentially our pain levels.
