MoveMindset

MoveMindset Helping women in midlife to move forwards with confidence, and feel like themselves again.

Many women struggle with the mental load that comes from juggling a career, looking after children and/or older parents. I help them to explore and discover their own unique path to having more energy and feeling their best. What clients discover is that there are often challenges that they are not even aware of which have been preventing them from reaching their goals. Small shifts can then be made, in their mindset, their physical environment or their actions. I am their guide helping them in the exploration process and supporting them through the new path that they find for themselves. Faye Andrews, Founder of Move Mindset, is a Registered Health and Wellbeing Coach at UK and International Health Coaches Association (www.UKIHCA.com), and also a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. She is a facilitator of PCI accredited courses teaching Health and Wellness Coaching to health professionals.

Discussions on our walk today covered….

Shoulder tension, sleep (or lack of it) post it notes, sleep strategies, outfit making, first time running and walking challenges…..

I’m suffering from shoulder pain/tension right now, so focusing more on gentle stretching (thanks to for guidance on this) and regular WalkActive, which encourages improved posture, in particular, hips/head and shoulders, as you walk.

Some of the ladies thoroughly recommended Tai Chi - next on my list of things to try 🤗

Join us for our next walk - Friday 27 March at 10am, Simons Wood (see further details on website).

If you freelance or work remotely and you’d like to try a 1-1 Walk and Talk session (30 or 60 mins sessions available) to explore, problem solve and move forwards in your work, book via link in bio.

Whilst out on a walk this morning, I stopped to notice the view and a bumble bee appeared next to me.

It hung around for some time - it really did feel like it was trying to tell me something.....

Bumble Bees symbolise hard work and resilience - perseverance leads to achievement and overcoming challenges.

Their role in the hive shows the importance of COMMUNITY AND COLLABORATION, emphasising interdependence and shared goals.

They represent TRANSFORMATION and GROWTH, guiding us through life's changes and encouraging us to embrace new beginnings.

I was grateful for this reminder today ❤️

Move Mindset Menopause Walks now covers:

Wokingham
Finchampstead
Lower Earley
Swinley Forest

See details of our March walks.

Come and join our community to get outside, get some fresh air, move and talk.

My favourite things about starting these walks 8 months ago, is the people that I've met, and the things that I've learnt from other humans who actually a lived experienced.

I've been inspired, I've laughed (I'm not sure I've cried yet but I'm sure there were a couple of mornings I could have done before I arrived!).

We all have our stuff to deal with, but it is so much less daunting when we know we are not alone.

If you fancy giving one of our walks a try, you'd be very welcome.

So take a look at details of our March Walks below - and join us if you can.
