Guided Somatic Breathwork… what actually is it? 🌬️
Honestly? It’s one of those practices that’s hard to explain until you experience it.
Most of us spend our days stuck in “go mode” , thinking constantly, holding tension without even noticing, pushing through tiredness, stress, overwhelm, noise. We become very good at overriding the body.
Somatic breathwork works differently.
Using rhythmic breathing, gentle movement, and body awareness, this practice helps you slow down enough to actually hear what’s going on underneath the surface. Not through analysing or talking… but through sensation, breath, tension, release, emotion, instinct.
Sometimes people leave feeling lighter. Sometimes clearer. Sometimes deeply rested. Sometimes emotional. Sometimes just more themselves again.
There’s no performance in this work. No pressure to have a breakthrough. No need to “do it right”.
Just breath. Body. Attention.
We’re very excited to have Lily Isobel bringing these sessions to Sarvāṅga Yoga Studio this summer:
✨ May 18th
✨ July 5th
✨ August 2nd
Open to all levels, whether you’re completely new to this kind of work or already exploring somatics, breath, or nervous system practices.
Spaces are limited 💛
