We were delighted to host our Dementia Support Group - 'Tea With Us' on Monday at Alexandra Grange, marking the start of Dementia Action Week 💙

These welcoming monthly sessions, led by our wonderful Dementia Care Manager Kelly, provide a relaxed space for relatives and carers of those living with dementia to come together for support, conversation and refreshments.

Our Dementia Support Group ordinarily takes place on the second Tuesday of every month from 2pm and we would love to welcome new faces.

Recently at Alexandra Grange, we were delighted to welcome Rabbi Dr Rene Pfertzel, who delivered a fascinating and insightful talk to residents about Jerusalem Day 🇮🇱

Residents thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the significance and traditions surrounding the day, with many sharing their own memories and reflections throughout the session.

A special thank you also goes to resident Gill’s daughter, who kindly baked a traditional challah for everyone to enjoy alongside the talk. It was absolutely delicious and greatly appreciated by all.

Yesterday at Alexandra Grange, we came together to celebrate the Hallmark Care Homes Awards in true AG style! 🎉

The afternoon was filled with live music, beautiful food prepared by our talented chefs, an amazing traditional dance by Alsa and plenty of karaoke as the team celebrated together. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the dedication, passion and hard work of our incredible colleagues.

🇦🇹 Our recent “Taste of the World” themed lunch transported residents all the way to Austria! 🍽️

Residents enjoyed a delicious Austrian inspired lunch prepared by our talented hospitality team, followed by a wonderful afternoon of themed activities, crossword challenges and plenty of fun conversations about Austrian culture and traditions.
