Opportunity to further your CPD with this 2 day course on .

Being held at in and being taught by Dr Jong Baik.

There are still a few places left to participate in this fantastic 2 day course, 18/19th May, at TAA taught by Jong Baik who studied under the originator of KHT, Dr Tae Woo Yoo.

KHT theorises that the hands reflect the anatomy and physiology of the whole body, making it a unique micros-system for acupuncture enabling it to treat many health conditions. It offers both invasive and non-invasive options for treatment enabling those who are needle phobic (not sure if that’s the right word but you get my drift!). Almost all of the traditional body acupuncture points can be found on the hand.

Within the two days you’ll learn;
* An introduction to KHT
* The history of KHT
* Possible mechanisms underlying KHT
* Introduction to the three main theories
* Precautions and Contraindication
* It also fully covers Correspondence Theory and introduces Micro Meridian Theory
* Coverage of all the MicroMeridians- Ren, Du, Lu,P,H,Li, Si, SJ, Kid, Liv, Sp, St, Bl, GB. Five element points on the meridians, death pulse and 4 pulse points.

This event also covers:
* Diagnosis in KHT
* Five Element Treatment Approach

All for the bargain price of only £140. Please get in touch personally to me on information@manyasmt.com or via messenger. Hope to see you there 😀

To attend you’ll need to be trained in acupuncture and have your own liability insurance and please remember to check prior to attendance that this therapy can be added to your policy.

Like this description here from the British Acupuncture Council of whom I am a member so thought it would be good to share 😜

If you’re considering traditional acupuncture in this new year, be sure to look for a British Acupuncture Council registered practitioner. Being on an accredited register, BAcC members are able to display the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) quality mark, a sign that they belong to a register which meets the PSA’s robust standards. https://acupuncture.org.uk/find-an-acupuncturist/

Traditional acupuncture is a healthcare system used in the East for over 2,000 years. Acupuncture adopts an holistic approach to healthcare, considering the mind and body as one, and is based on the idea that a blockage or disturbance in the flow of ‘qi’ (a concept from Chinese philosophy), can cause health issues. Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) theory views pain and illness as an indication that the body is out of balance.

Sometimes, people choose acupuncture even though they have no obvious symptoms. Some choose to have regular treatment because they find it beneficial and relaxing, especially if they lead a very stressful life. Often, people turn to acupuncture to take back control of their health, whilst others want to understand their body in a deeper way, wanting to look after their body, mind and soul.
