Our Art classes are about sharing a love of art - for children aged 5 to 16 across Reading, Earley and Wokingham, UK who want to develop their drawing and painting skills. Arty Class is a dedicated school of drawing and painting based in Reading and Wokingham, Berkshire. We offer structured, child-centred, art classes for children aged 5-15, nurturing each child to bring out their artistic potential.

Forbury Fiesta, Sat 9th May, 11-4pm!!

Arty class will be running a stall for our second year at the Forbury Fiesta to launch the Reading children's festival.

2026 is the National year of Reading so we are offering free Elmer inspired artworks for younger children and design your own Quentin Blake characters for older children.

You'll find us in the Arts Marquee.

Starting the summer term exploring one-point perspective with our 8-12 year olds! Lots of creative licence with this project, as well as experimenting with pen &ink, watercolours, pastels and more, at our Lower Earley class.

Amazing group of children, I love seeing them every week (and all our Artsters!).

To help celebrate the national year of reading we'll be creating some Elmer inspired elephants for younger children and designing our very own book characters inspired by Quentin Blake for older children! 🐘📚🤸

A final reminder that the deadline for the YASS is today at 5pm! 🎨🎨🎨

For children aged 4 to 18 living and studying in the UK.

There is no theme for the competition - you can choose a piece from art class that your child is proud of or something that they have done at home.

It's free to submit and their piece could be shown at the Royal Academy as well as winning a prize!

They would just need to add a short description about their piece.

You can register and submit through https://youngartists.royalacademy.org.uk/ . Once you register, if you are a current student of Arty Class, you can select our School - It's the third one down, 'Arty class ltd'.
