Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) Treatments

RLD is an award winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. I am fully trained in this technique.

In hot weather, lymphatic reflexology can help manage swelling and discomfort, particularly for those with lymphoedema. Increased heat can exacerbate swelling, and lymphatic drainage techniques, including reflexology, can help move fluid and reduce puffiness. It's important to stay hydrated and manage heat exposure to support lymphatic health.

Lymphatic Reflexology and Hot Weather:
Increased Swelling:
Hot weather can cause blood vessels to dilate, leading to increased fluid retention and swelling, especially in individuals with lymphoedema.
Lymphatic Drainage Techniques:
Lymphatic reflexology, which aims to stimulate the lymphatic system, can help reduce this swelling by encouraging the drainage of excess fluid.
Heat Sensitivity:
Some individuals with lymphoedema may be more sensitive to heat and experience increased swelling in warm weather.
