Another great bit of recognition!

Looks like a nice night out for Lou & I at the award ceremony in November. 2025 has certainly been a wonderful year for recognition of what I do. 2 huge awards so far this year, and now a finalist in the POSITIVE IMPACT award.

MY FIRST HANGOVER IN EIGHT YEARS

But why?

Today I woke up like the old days.

Tired.
Regretful.
Guilty.
Anxious.
Envious.

Why would I do that to myself?

I am just back from 3 days in London attending

It literally blew my head off.

So why the hangover?

Did I have alcohol after all these years?

Going booze free was the single best thing I ever did for myself - bar none.

Not a drop.

Tired: I commuted in each day as it was my youngest's 11th birthday and no way was I going to book a hotel and stay over and miss that. (Yes I was out early, but we agreed I could wake him up, have a snuggle in bed and he courageously said he would wait until the evening to open them when I and his siblings would be there and Dad could make pizzas on the Ooni)

Regretful: Networking and learning often brings the regret of stuff you should have done. I should have spent £5K on Bitcoin back in 2016 like the guy at lunch. I should have invested more in my YouTube channel (and basically every other organic traffic source LOL.

Guilty: I often am very hard on myself at the stuff I am not doing. I find frustration and guilt welling up and dissipating like some kind of dopamine-fuelled rollercoaster. And then I was on the same stage as Dragon's Steven Bartlett and the wonderful Sara Davies - again - receiving an award for what I HAVE done - the lives changed and saved, and yes, the money earned in the process. BBC appearances, awards, pretty cool...

Anxious: 2 days out means 3 days of craziness. My diary is STACKED and I am going to have let someone down today. (Say no to 1 person or give a half-arsed solution to a handful) I have gone through my diary, done my 'tapping' and have eaten that frog.

Envious: This was a room dripping with success. Not just about money, but I found myself admiring the qualities I see in others that I am getting to know better and keen to learn from.

(I am also envious of Lucy my rescue dog who doesn't give a s**t about any of this. She was rescued as a sack of skin and bones from Cyprus and truly understands the only things that matter are to love and be loved. This pic is at 0630 this morning at the lake where I finally figured it all out after years of doing the wrong things)

Eight years.

No alcohol.

Hangovers are the BEST.

Have a fu***ng awesome day.

I will.

You are invited to a live Q&A session with me tomorrow, Thursday 24th April, 4pm UK time.💙
In this web class I will show you how I did it and why I simply DO NOT MISS alcohol any more (and I struggled for years until I found the 'hidden in plain sight' answer)!

You see, this is not about simply 'quitting drinking' - it is about understanding the role you have given alcohol, and re-learning the alternatives.

If you use alcohol to relax, I can show you how to do that better.
If you use alcohol for confidence, I can show you how to do that better.
If you use alcohol for boredom, I can show you how to do that better.
If you use alcohol to numb yourself, I can show you how to do that better.

It's ok if you struggled in the past - there is nothing wrong with you - you just haven't yet done the thing that works for you.

I am also going to tell you the single worst thing you can do when trying to get over this (and yes, you are almost certainly doing it - we all do!).

I will also stick around and answer EVERY question you may have. I have my own experience but also that of the 6,000 others I have worked with to transcend this.

What would your future self advise you to do? See you there!

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of being invited to talk on a podcast called 'Think Your Way to an Epic Life', with Sweeny Mabanta, about my journey of overcoming alcoholism and helping others do the same. In this episode, I talk about the science behind overcoming addiction, how I turned to extreme challenges for healing and purpose, plus offering practical advice for staying sober and finding hope!

I am hosting a LIVE Q&A on Thursday, at 4pm UK time, for those people who are looking to make a lasting change to their relationship with alcohol.

If this is you, then you need to be there!

In the web class I am going to go through the neuroscience that keeps you drinking, and how you can use it to transform your relationship with alcohol for good.

You will learn:
1. Why past 'failures' at addressing this are not your fault BUT they are keeping you stuck.
2. What the alcohol industry knows but you don't - and how they exploit you.
3. The ONE thought that changes EVERYTHING.
4. Getting control of your drinking may not be EASY but is SIMPLE.

Sound interesting? Read on....

What if you could transform how you feel about alcohol in under 3 weeks and then take a clean break with all the tools you need, along with direct support from Andy for 4 months?

My next group coaching cohort starts at the beginning of March and I will show you how you can join.

Here we are at the beginning of February and there is lots of discussion about how Dry January went.

Some people had a triumph, some fell at the first hurdle, and some are left contemplating just how HARD they found it.

On Thursday at 4pm UK time, I am hosting a LIVE webinar and Q&A on how to make Dry January stick for good.

For so many years, I felt obliged to do the whole 'Dry January' thing. Towards the end of it, I was practically counting down the hours, I was so desperate to get back 'on it'.

I want to SHARE with you the KEY THINGS I have learned over the years as to why taking a break can feel hard, and how to turn it into lasting change.

Would that be helpful for you?
