Half term and bank holiday weekends can feel like one big juggling act, right?

Worrying about rainy days, “mum, I’m bored” on repeat, running out of snacks, and trying to sneak in a hot drink (let alone get any work done).

You’re not alone in finding it exhausting. So know you’re doing your best 🥰

Here’s a few things you can do to bring a little more calm and connection:

✔️ Make meals special by cooking together

✔️ Play a quick board game or read a book in the afternoons

✔️ Set up crafts and activities so they can discover and create

✔️ Sort wardrobes or order summer clothes together

✔️ Go for a spontaneous walk or train ride

✔️ And most importantly - find time for YOU (even if it’s just 10 minutes!)

Remember: you don’t have to be perfect. Be present in the moments that truly matter and be kind to yourself too 😁

He’s cheerfully walking out the door.
I’m standing at the bottom of the stairs.
And my daughter is twirling around the living room, singing at full volume - instead of brushing her teeth like I’ve asked her to a million times already🤷🏻‍♀️

The worst bit?
I’ve got just 10 minutes to get dressed before the school run 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m trying to hold it all together.
Trying to be it all.
Do it all.

But under the surface, I feel like I’m failing at everything.
Exhausted😮‍💨
Fed up 🙄
Totally not managing like the “old me.”

Can you relate?

Here’s what I now know:
✨ I wasn’t failing - I was just working it out - so it’s called evolving!
✨ And I didn’t have to do it all alone.

I trained as a coach in 2020, and I haven’t stopped since.
