Only 1 day till Christmas and Archie has decided it’s time for a well-earned rest 👟🎄

He’s picked himself the cosiest little spot and looks very pleased about it.
During your appointment, we go through everything from safely cutting your toenails to helping you choose footwear that actually supports you day to day.
Keeping your feet healthy helps prevent pain, injury and unnecessary discomfort, and we’re always here to guide you towards the best shoes for your foot type.
🎀 Fun fact… your laces do more work than you think!

A small tweak in the lacing pattern can relieve pressure points, reduce heel slip, and make brand-new shoes instantly more comfortable.

Looks like Archie has had a go on the Swift machine and his verrucae are a thing of the past 👣😅

Swift delivers microwave energy directly into the affected tissue, making it a fast and effective treatment option for persistent verrucae.

Archie will have impressive feet when he returns to the North Pole ❄

Today Archie is in the gym area working on his strength and warming up for his rehab session with our physio Dom 🏋️‍♂️✨

He has also booked himself in for acupuncture and a sports massage to help with any aches from his North Pole Ice Hockey matches 🏒❄

Archie has officially promoted himself to head of elf and safety today 😆🎄

All our podiatry instruments are thoroughly cleaned, sterilised in the autoclave and sealed until they are needed. Keeping standards high is something we take seriously at The Vale Clinic.

A spa day sounds lovely and Archie clearly agrees 💆‍♂✨
He has turned our ultrasonic cleaner into his personal hot tub today.

The ultrasonic cleaner uses soundwaves to remove debris from our instruments, giving them a deep clean before sterilisation.

Just another way we make sure everything used in clinic is safe and hygienic.

We’re here to help keep your feet healthy.

Archie has found the Shockwave machine and looks very pleased with himself 🎄😂

We think he might be hoping Santa can use it for sore heels or elbow pain after a long night delivering presents. Unfortunately, even Santa needs to book an appointment like everyone else.

Shockwave therapy is a non invasive pressure wave treatment for persistent musculoskeletal issues such as tendinopathies. It delivers targeted energy into the tissue to help speed on recovery, support healing and reduce pain levels.

Our podiatry team can help with heel pain like Plantar fasciitis, Achilles pain, Knee pain and gluteal pain.

Feeling the winter chill, Archie treated himself to what he thinks is a luxury hot spa at 134°C ❄🔥

What he has actually found is our autoclave. It sterilises instruments at high temperature so everything we use in clinic is hygienic and safe.
