Our Story
Weardale Physiotherapy provides Physiotherapy, Chiropody and Sports Massage therapies as well as Pilates classes for all abilities, and yoga classes.
Physiotherapy employs a wide range of evidence based hands on skills and techniques including massage, joint and spinal mobilisation and manipulation, acupuncture, ultrasound and other electrotherapies as well as tailored exercise prescription.
Weardale Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic is a vibrant physiotherapy clinic in the heart of Wolsingham. Owned and run by Physiotherapist Suzy Cramb MCSP, HCPC, AACP. Suzy qualified from the Liverpool school of physiotherapy and has completed rotations in hospitals and GP surgeries including working for three years as the senior sports injury clinician at the Royal National Orthopaedic hospital in London. Suzy is a keen runner and tri-athlete competing regularly. Suzy understands the importance of sport and exercise at whatever level you choose to enjoy it.
Clare Mitchell MSc, MCSP, HCPC, AACP also works out of Weardale Physiotherpay and Sports Injury Clinic. Clare qualified from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. She completed her rotations in, respiratory, outpatients, care of the elderly, hospitals and GP surgeries in the north of Scotland and England before specialising into musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Clare is a keen swimmer and enjoys horse riding.
