💉 Is your child up to date with their vaccinations?

Routine childhood immunisations protect against serious and sometimes life-threatening diseases.

⏰ Take a moment to check your child’s vaccination record and make sure they’re fully protected.

☎️ If your child has missed any vaccines, please contact the surgery to book an appointment.

Today is World Cancer Day 🌍

Cancer affects many lives, whether directly or through a loved one.

On , we want to highlight that while not all cancers can be prevented, there are important steps we can take to reduce risk and detect cancer early.

💚 Prevention matters
Healthy lifestyle choices such as not smoking, staying active, eating a balanced diet, limiting alcohol, and protecting your skin from the sun could all help lower cancer risk.

🔍 Screening saves lives
Taking part in NHS screening programmes (including breast, cervical and bowel screening) can help spot cancer early. If you receive an invitation — please attend!

🤝 Support is available
If you are living with cancer, supporting someone who is, or have concerns about symptoms, you are not alone. We are here to listen, support, and guide you to the right help and services.

🩺 Cervical Cancer Prevention Week - 19–25 January 2026

Cervical screening is not a test for cancer. It’s a test to help prevent cervical cancer by finding high-risk HPV and early cell changes before cancer can develop.

If you’ve been invited for screening, please come forward when called.

✔️ You should still attend even if you’ve had the HPV vaccine
✔️ If you think you may be overdue, please contact the surgery
✔️ Screening is for people with a cervix aged 25–64

If you have any concerns or questions, our team is here to support you.

📞 Contact the surgery to check if you’re due.
