Ahoy there me hearties ❤! It's International Talk Like A Pirate Day and I be finding any excuse to join in. For all ye who be wanting know more about Slimming World and Food Optimising, say 'arrrrrrrrhhhhh'! Don’t be a nervous wreck, when you arrrr-ive at my Tettenhall group you’ll be giving a lovely warm welcome, there’s absolutely no pier pressure – only care and support from me and your new fellow mateys. The more we feel accepted, the kinder our self-talk becomes 😍. And when we’re kind to ourselves at any size, we’re more able to make healthy choices that will give us the results that we want. Slimming World understands the need for a family-friendly approach and because Food Optimising is founded on everyday food, the kids can get on board with planning, shopping and cooking Food Optimising-friendly meals. At his heaviest Man of the Year 2022 Dave Wi******er says he felt very alone with his worries about his weight and was nervous about joining a Slimming World group, yet now knows he’s right where he belongs 🥰 With the support and warmth of his local group, Dave’s lost an incredible 14½st, re-discovered his love for cricket and is the fun active dad he dreamed of being – a real hat-trick 🏏if you ask me!
