How I lost 7kg without tracking a single calorie and only training twice per week.

I don’t recommend it especially if you’re starting out your fitness journey, but I’ve been doing this a long time.

And I’ve taught people how to lose weight for 9 years as a job.

And I’ve taught people how to teach people how to lose weight as another job for 6 years.

But yes, I lost 7kg for my holiday without tracking a single calorie and only trained twice a week, plus walked the dog.

How did I do it you ask?

Believe it or not, it’s not some crazy, hidden secret that people only get taught on their PT course.

It’s just simple basics done again and again.

Or CONSISTENT.

1) I prioritised protein with every meal.

This was 100% a non-negotiable for me. Keeping a good amount of protein in every single meal (And when I say good amount, I don’t just mean adding a few nuts to a salad) was key to maintaining muscle mass, but also keeping me feel full and satisied after meals.

2) I watched my portion sizes and kept myself in check when I knew I was being too greedy.

Portion sizes are the achillies heel for a lot of people. If you look at a meal and think ‘That’s a lot’, it probably is.

3) I didn’t buy any snacks with the weekly shop.

I know that if they’re in the house I’ll be too tempted. Especially when I get home from a long day and I’m hungry and tired. If they’re not in the house I can’t eat them. Plus once I had my proper meal the cravings went.

Like I said, it’s not rocket science, it’s just good nutrition habits and consistency.

This is something that I drill into all my 1-2-1 clients (But in a nice way).

Well I say that, but in reality because the plans they get set up on are so easy for them to follow, I don’t generally have to drill that into them all that much becuase the results just end up coming.

So book a call with me to join the ACM Fit 1-2-1 Coaching Programme and let’s get this show on the road.

A fantastic and well earned transformation from Andy 👏

Andy first approached me at the back end of last year and was in a position where he felt that general life was getting in the way of his health and fitness.

Work and kids had been pretty much his only focus for a long time and while he was part of a running club he felt like he wasn’t getting anywhere in terms of his performance and was concerned that his weight, and health, would soon start to get away from him.

After our initial conversation we set a 6 month goal plan for him to get his bodyfat levels down, improve his cardiovascular health (Heart rate and breathing was slightly concerning especially when exercising) and make his running performance the standard that he wanted.

Right away we got to work with tailored nutrition support and taught him how to eat to suit his goals, work and social life (The amount of Miller and Carters he has eaten is ridiculous 😂).

We also made sure we got his base daily activity up to combat the sedentary nature of his job and put a training schedule in place to get his running performance up.

Fast forward to today and he’s over 10kg down, had achieved the initial weight loss target he wanted, regularly smashes PBs in his runs and had pretty much eradicate the heart rate and breathing issues he was having!

During the whole process we’ve closely monitored all aspects of his training, nutrition and activity to tweak things as needed to break through any plateaus and he’s thrilled with the results.

‘Phase Two’ will start now where we’ll aim to build some lean muscle and smash even more running PBs!

If you want a transformation like Andy, drop me a DM and let’s see what the ACM Fit 1-2-1 coaching programme can do for you đŸ’Ș

If I hear one more do*****ag ‘fitness influencer’ say we all have the same 24 hours in a day

I swear to god I’m going to go on some for of Texas chainsaw massacre against them.

I’m sure if I just fly out to Dubai or Ibiza I’ll find a bunch of them.

Look, I get the concept and the meaning behind it.

We do all have 24 hours in a day.

But there is no way on this earth we all have THE SAME 24 hours.

Hell, my 24 hours has changed dramatically in the last year after Willow came along.

That 21 year old fitness influencer’s day probably wakes up around 8am, dosses around for a bit, goes to the gym, meal preps, goes to their part time job, does cardio, makes a post about how much they’re ‘grinding’, ‘hustling’ and ‘outworking the competition’, then goes to bed about 11pm.

Yeah mate, try doing that when you have a proper full time job, don’t live with your parents, have kids or pets (Or both), a partner and get a full nights sleep once in a blue moon.

Would love to see how much ‘grafting’ they do then.

The main reason why people fall out of shape is because life just tends to get in the way

And your own health and fitness becomes less of a priority

But it doesn’t have to be this way forever.

Yes you might not be able to train 6 days a week like ‘JonnyPT69’ might do, but it’s perfectly reasonable to fit in 2/3 45 minute workouts a week.

And yes, that is plenty to make a real difference and get a solid fitness transformation (It’s pretty much what I do these days).

The best way to go about that would be to join the ACM Fit 1-2-1 coaching programme.

It’s helped hundreds of people make jaw-dropping transformations without having to live like a 21 year old influencer.

All you need to do is book a call with me to get the ball rolling.

If you follow any kind of PT you’ve probably heard them bang on until the cows come home about

Being in a calorie deficit.

We all know that being in a calorie deficit is what you need to do to lose weight.

The thing is it’s pretty frigging hard to be in one.

If it was easy most coaches would be out of a job and everyone would be walking around with six packs.

As someone who’s helped hundreds of people with their fat loss goals, I can tell you right here right now there’s a lot more that goes into losing weight than just ‘being in a calorie deficit’.

If you were a brand new client of mine and told me your goal was to lose 10-15kg over the next few months here’s what I’d get you doing and thinking about:

1) Every meal needs to have a good amount of protein in it.

Every. Single. Meal.

At least 20g no matter who you are.

This makes you feel full.

2) Get as much fibre in your diet as you can.

This also makes you feel full.

3) Pay attention to your meal timings

Spacing meals out too far apart can let the munchies in.

Never want to let the munchies in.

Now there are obviously a metric sh*t ton more things to think about for getting and staying in a calorie deficit, but those are things I much prefer to make recommendations on an individual basis.

Which is where my 1-2-1 coaching programme comes in play.

Specific, tailored coaching covering everything from workouts to nutrition, social life to getting fit.

This is how my client lost 20kg, became stronger than ever and got into the best shape he’s been in years.

When Jordan came to me he was in a position where he was training on and off, but was struggling with consistency, injuries and had a tough time balancing his food along with his crazy work travel schedule.

He works in Formula One so as you can imagine his international travel plans are absolutely insane.

And because of all this he wasn’t happy with how he looked, felt like he was carrying way too much bodyfat and it was really starting to get him down.

After our initial call we got to work with coaching him on nutrition so he could kickstart his fat loss journey not only when he was home in the UK, but also when he was travelling alongside a flexible, but progressive training programme that worked for him, his schedule and his injuries.

Lots of changes and tweaks had to be made along the way (Which is what 1-2-1 coaching SHOULD be about) as his plans changed and he progressed with his training and fitness levels.

In the end he reached a point where he lost a whopping 20kg, is stronger than ever and feels amazing for it!

Just goes to show what hardworking combined with the right help can do.

If you want a transformation like Jordan, drop me a DM and let’s have a chat about you joining the ACM Fit 1-2-1 Coaching Programme.

If you’re anything like me, you probably feel you don’t fall into a specific ‘fitness category’.

You don’t want to be a bodybuilder and obsess over every little micro-calorie and spend 3 hours a day flexing in the mirror.

(Although there’s nothing wrong with a cheeky bicep flex every now and again).

You don’t want to be an ultra marathon runner who spends insane amounts of money on new running trainers and lives their lives with a constant chaffing in between their legs.

You kind of want to be a fairly good at a few different things.

Now a lot of people will tell you that this isn’t a good idea and you should stick to just one thing.

Those people are called close minded nauses who need to have a sodding day off from being a boring tw*t.

Why the hell CAN’T you work towards multiple things at once?!

What’s wrong with having a good looking, muscular physique, being strong AND also being fit and athletic too?!

And yes it is absolutely possible. Look at most professional sports people.

My awesome client Tom is on such a journey at the moment.

He was a keen runner anyway and came to me with the goal of building muscle and strength.

Now he’s had the bright idea to run a marathon in August.

So this is going to mean some sick-ass programming and coaching from me to help him achieve both!

Is it possible?

500% it’s possible.

I’ll keep you posted on Tom’s journey over the next few months.

Do you walk into the gym on a semi-regular basis and just feel like you amble through the motions?

You enter through those weird space capsule-like things (Where you feel like a bit of an idiot just standing there waiting for it to open and let you out).

Walk through and head to the same 6 bit of equipment you always use and do the same workout you’ve been following for the past 3 years.

You get a bit of a sweat on, feel like you a got a workout in, but nothing really seems to change and you end up taking a few weeks off, only to repeat the cycle all over again.

Sound familar?

Well that’s exactly what the absolute legend that is Jonty used to be like before he joined my 1-2-1 coaching programme and got all aboard the gain train.

His whole life Jonty had felt underweight and skinny, never being able to put any real muscle on and lacked a bit of confidence in himself.

He contacted me last year with the aim of having some help, structure and guidance to get him properly into lifting weights and putting on some size and strength, something he’d struggled with for years.

Right away we got him on a tailored training programme that suited his level of strength and technique whih we progressed and adjusted as and when was necessary.

We also had a complete overhaul of his nutrition and got him in a calorie surplus while hitting enough protein, while actually teaching him how and what to eat to gain that size and strength he’s wanted for so long.

The result?

2 stone of bodyweight gained, skyrocketed strength, a bomb load of muscle slapped on, people noticing and commenting on his amazing new gains and the happiest with his body he’s been in years.

He put in the work, I merely gave him the tools and guidance.

Are you in a position like Jonty was?

Unhappy with your lack of progress and not clue how to get anywhere?

Need that kick up the arse to get your ass going?

Go on.

Imagine walking into a dark room and someone turning around in a big chair, stroking a cat and saying that in an ominous way.

Pretty scary, right?

I bet that’s how you felt the first time you walked into a gym.

Or maybe you haven’t done so in years, want to get back into it, but are afraid of that feeling.

I’ll level with you, I’ve felt that way too.

Even after going to the gym for years and being a qualified PT, going into a brand new gym I’ve never been in used to be intimidating.

It’s one of the big things that stops people from starting their fitness journey in the first place.

But what if... just if...

You took that leap of faith and got outside of your comfort zone.

Becuase, as I always say, life beings at the edge of your comfort zone.

Your comfort zone is nice, It’s easy. You know the score.

But nothing grows there. Nothing changes.

Every single good thing that’s come in my life has come from getting outside of my comfort zone.

So who knows what will happen if you do the same.

Maybe you’ll be like my client Liam who’s recently lost nearly 2 stone in 12 weeks and gotten stronger than he’s ever been in his life.

Or maybe you’ll be like Kaye who’s lost over 100 pounds in bodyweight and feels amazing for the first time in years.

Who knows what could happen.

So in keeping with the theme of getting outside your comfort zone, it would be very good idea if you signed up to my 1-2-1 online coaching programme.

Designed specifically to get you stronger, fitter, leaner and just generally a f**king badass.

Just drop me a DM to find out more.

More often than not we are our own worst critic.

I’ve had/got clients who’ve lost 2 stone in 12 weeks, everyone around them being gobsmascked at how good they look and they still beat themselves up over little things.

It’s part of being human.

But if you saw that progress on someone else, you’d think it was amazing.

Always think, people love to bring others down who are doing better than them, so if you’re getting told you look amazing, it’s probably because you do.
