Hi Mandy,
Maggie was fantastic. I was so nervous because I hadn't been out of the house for 5 months but she really put my mind at rest. She was lovely to talk to, great personality, so knowledgeable, caring and patient. She helped me physically and totally understood my needs without crowding me. More than that, she realised my disability isn't always apparent. which is so important. She also cheered me up and helped my confidence by giving me credit for what i've achieved today. I really needed and appreciated that. She also motivated me to move forward in my life after a very difficult time. First class service. Maggie is such an asset to you ⭐️ I couldn't have done today without her.

I just wanted to say how delighted I am with the help that Appointments Buddy have provided for my parents, Roswyn and Alan Brown. I was really worried that after dad broke his hip, my parents wouldn’t be able to get about. Appointments Buddy stepped in at short notice and have taken over transport and care for all their medical appointments. Mum and dad have commented on the professionalism of all of the buddies, and they’ve also found it really easy to make bookings. I’d like to give a special shout out to buddy Maggie who took dad quickly to hospital when he had an urgent referral, and stayed with him until I could take over. The updates from Appointments Buddy over WhatsApp have also been amazing, great to hear how things went and that mum and dad are safely back home. Buddy Christine kindly sent a very detailed updated after a complex hospital appointment, which was really appreciated.

Full job description
We are seeking friendly, caring & enthusiastic individuals to be part of our relatively small, but fast-growing, loyal team, who support clients in the Cannock and surrounding areas with transport & general assistance. Our clients are predominantly elderly, with a range of health and/or mobility needs and are looking for a bespoke service when attending a variety of appointments, including medical & daily leisure activities.

We also provide transport for a number of young disabled clients to their day centre provision within the local area.

We are looking to recruit conscientious people with a minimum of 2 years of experience within a care/social care setting and who have a full clean driving license, as you will be required to drive one of our company vehicles for the purposes of your work. This role would be suited to someone looking for a flexible working pattern and part-time hours.

All successful staff will be expected to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and will be provided with company workwear and identity badge. This role would also suit someone who is semi-retired & seeking ad-hoc work opportunities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£20.00 per hour

I would like to thank you and your staff for the exceptional care and kindness they have shown to my Mum over the years you have transported her to her fortnightly hair appointments. Mum is 97 this month and in many ways, given her diagnosis, it is something of a miracle that she has been able to stay in her own home, as she wants, and maintain an element of her independence. Your staff have been so supportive and contributed towards this. Would you please pass on my thanks to all who have helped Mum.

Thank you to your team for today, it was a very pleasant journey for my dad. He was comfortable and the ladies were very attentive and helpful to him, they are a credit to your company. It was a big relief for my mom and myself, knowing that my dad would be coming home after his appointment instead of waiting for potentially hours for patient transport.

We have very recently booked and used the services of appointment buddy ltd for an hospital appointment for our father. We were unable to attend and we wanted support in place. There was no other place to look! From start to finish seamless booking, excellent communications before, during and after the appointment. Our father was very complimentary of the service and thankful he was supported. Would gladly recommend their services.
