I'm a qualified Dru Yoga Teacher enjoying the beautiful practices and sharing them with the world. After all this crazy world needs it!
I want to spread a little love, joy and help people to find inner peace and to live a happy and meaningful life. I had practiced yoga on and off, mostly for fitness and exercise, for around 15 years before discovering the true depth and benefits of these ancient practices. Yoga has helped me through the toughest times of my life and put me on the path to helping others who are navigating similar j
ourney’s. When I turned up on my yoga mat on the first day of the Dru Yoga teacher training back in 2016 with my suitcases full of baggage of life’s ups and downs, I said to myself “I’ll just give it a try and see where we go.” I now know that I was there for a purpose as it began the biggest transformation of my life so far. What has unfolded has been amazing and such a cleansing and nurturing experience. I have learnt to accept myself, the good, the bad and all in between – open my heart and mind and now want to help others too. Yoga helped me to find strength, stillness and solace from the negative mind chatter and through the rollercoaster of our TTC and IVF journey, a stressful job and most importantly it gave me all the tools I needed to navigate the crippling pain of grief following the devastating loss of my son Louis at just 18 days old and my brother in law just six months later. I’ve learnt breathing techniques that helped through the moments where I felt I couldn’t breathe, postures and sequences to ease a breaking heart and shift the pain I felt in every cell of my body and how to be in the present moment escaping from the pain of the past and fear of the future. Most of all I learned to love who I was and my body and mind again. Yoga was the only thing that truly helped and continues to help me through the stresses and strains of daily life, balancing a stressful job and also being an adoptive mother to a toddler!

Reclaim your calm with this free 3 day Ayurveda Self-Care course.
Like a hearty breakfast is food for the body, as meditation is food for the mind.🧘♀️
A good meditation should balance all dosha types, but certain techniques can be more beneficial to balance a specific dosha.🙏

The earth turns away from Winter’s Solstice and heads toward Spring’s Equinox.

Winter Solstice Blessings one and all! ❄️
MID-WINTER SOLSTICE BLESSINGS to our dear Earth Pathways community...
May we willingly release the things we no longer need, and follow our hearts on a journey into the new light…
May we plant the seeds of our dreams with hope
May we nurture them with love and courage, passion and belief
May we watch them grow strong, sharing our joys with those who are special to us
May our harvests be abundant and gratefully received
And may we celebrate often as community, remembering in our hearts where we truly belong
And always …
May there be peace in our hearts, in our land, and in our world
May we honour each other with kindness and inclusion
May we care for the earth and all her beauty, treasuring her gifts to us
May love surround us
And may we trust that the changes that come are for the good of all.

Blessed Be!
The standing of the sun - a turning point in the earth’s cycle
Take a moment to stop, be still and look back at your own unique journey since Winter Solstice. Celebrate your achievements, all you have learned and how you’ve grown.
As you stand on the threshold, the doorway to the second half of the year, think about what you wish to encourage in your life. Utilise the energy of this light to energise the path ahead.
💭 Dare to dream - allow them to blossom 🌺
Take time outdoors, feet on the earth and relish in the abundance of nature in full bloom 🌍 🌱💚

"You are comprised of 84 minerals, 23 Elements, and 8 gallons of water spread across 38 trillion cells.
You have been built up from nothing by the spare parts of the Earth you have consumed, according to a set of instructions hidden in a double helix and small enough to be carried by a s***m. You are recycled butterflies, plants, rocks, streams, firewood, wolf fur, and shark teeth, broken down to their smallest parts and rebuilt into our planet’s most complex living thing.
You are not living on Earth. You are Earth."

Earth Pathways Diary
WINTER SOLSTICE BLESSINGS
Pause, be still, reflect.
Enfold yourself in the magic of this special time and let it enfold you. This longest darkest night is a time for deep dreaming. Dream big. What are the hopes you carry inside that await to be born with the sun's returning light? What hopes do you hold for your loved ones, your community, the world? What hopes do you hold for our beautiful Earth? May the sun’s returning seed all of your precious hopes and dreams, gently nurturing them through Winter’s cold to emerge in the warming Spring. Blessed be.

There is a lovely idea in the Celtic tradition that if you send out goodness from yourself, or if you share that which is happy or good within you, it will all come back to you multiplied ten thousand times. In the kingdom of love there is no competition, there is no possessiveness or control. The more love you give away, the more love you will have.
I wonder if you know,
the work your body has done today.
And every day.
How much disease it has fought off.
How many times it could have failed but battled on,
how many ways it could have broken but did not.
I wonder if you know,
the work your body has done today.
And every day.
And each day it has done this amazing job,
without your help,
without your approval,
your acceptance,
your kindness.
Each day it has soldiered on,
regardless of the constant stream of negativity,
pulsing its way from your brain to your cells.
Not good enough.
Not attractive enough.
Not the right shape.
Perhaps it’s time to see your body for what is truly is,
An amazing and mind-blowingly competent machine.
To get your soul to where it needs to be in this life.
To let you live.
I wonder if you know,
how much better you would be as a team.
I wonder.
Self-love is not just about constantly giving yourself praise and telling yourself how awesome you are.
It’s about loving the real you, the human you—the person who has feet of clay, who comes undone under criticism, who sometimes fails and disappoints others.
It’s about making a commitment to yourself that you will stick by yourself—even if no one else does!
That’s what I mean when I say you must love yourself as though your life depends on it, because quite simply, I know without a doubt that it does. --Anita Moorjani

Wise words and timely reminder... Thank you Dame Deborah 🙏 R.I.P. Beautiful Soul 💚
10 THINGS DAME DEBORAH TAUGHT US
1. We are not here to suffer, regardless of the challenges allocated to us (we each receive our own), we must seek the light, above everything else.
2. The love we create as we go about our way, is a wondrous thing to behold. And that love will regenerate forevermore, growing new love wherever it lands.
3. If you are not happy with the life you live, find the life you want to live. Piece by piece, you can build that from the blueprint in your own mind.
4. Hope is worth more than any material possession or power a human can source. Hope can bring millions of people to one place to achieve greatness, and it very much has.
5. Your body is your home, and you need it to stay here. Care for it, look after it and give it the respect it deserves. Don’t hate on it another day. It does amazing work.
6. You decide how each chapter of your life will unfold. Ultimately, it’s you that fills in the words between each and every plot twist. You can’t change the bones, but you can fill the flesh.
7. Dying is hard when you do not want to leave. But if we must depart, let no stone be left unturned in the quarry of your heart. Say it all.
8. The more you love, the harder the leaving gets. The more you are loved, the bigger the grieving grows. It’s a universal truth that a beautiful life, will leave much grief in its wake.
9. Do not hate the ageing process. Each day you live past your mid-life, is a day to be seized and celebrated. Each wrinkle, another year won. Embrace it. Not everyone can.
10. Finally, check your poo…it may just save your life.

About Me - Lisa Lippett profile
I had practiced yoga on and off, mostly for fitness and exercise, for around 15 years before discovering the true depth and benefits of these ancient practices. Yoga has helped me through the toughest times of my life and put me on the path to helping others who are navigating similar journey’s.
I’ve learnt breathing techniques that helped through the moments where I felt I couldn’t breathe, postures to ease a breaking heart and shift the pain I felt in every cell of my body and how to be in the present moment stopping the negative mind chatter. Most of all I learned to love who I was and my body again. Yoga was the only thing that truly helped and continues to help me through the stresses and strains of daily life, balancing a stressful job and also being an adoptive mother to a 2-year-old!
I want to help people that need a little love and nurturing to be more compassionate with themselves and others, to uncover strengths they never knew they possessed, let go of the fear holding them back and learn to face their insecurities head on, showing them how to live a happy and meaningful life. All we need is a little time to breathe and connect – it’s already all there within us.
In practicing the gentle and flowing, yet strong Dru postures and using affirmations and visualisation you can strengthen the body and mind, changing the direction of negative thought patterns and behaviours, turning them into positivity and self-worth – it can take a little practice after a lifetime of negative chatter!
I have taken the toughest parts of my life as the biggest lessons and learnt not to dwell on the negative or hardship but try to use what I have learned to help others find their way through the challenges of life too.
And so, Escape to Anahata Yoga was born along the way, which literally translates to escape to the heart where our true self resides, at the centre of our being. It is the centre of selflessness and generosity, representing calmness, serenity and peace. The place from which unconditional love and compassion stem from and how we relate to others. I want to spread a little love, joy and help people to find inner peace and help them to live a happy and meaningful life. After all this crazy world needs a lot more of it!
