Apollo Home Healthcare support people with complex care needs by providing specialist, person-centred complex care services in the home for adults and children with life-limiting conditions. Our dedicated and experienced local teams are committed to ensuring that we consistently deliver a high quality, person-centred service to our clients with life-limiting needs and conditions. We go above and beyond to ensure that our clients can live the life they want to live and achieve all their aspirations along the way. Most importantly, enabling them to do this from the comfort of their own home. That’s why our team are an integral part of our success, ensuring that we continually deliver compassionate, high-quality personal care to our clients. We understand the importance of regular quality placements of work and we ensure that our Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers receive ongoing support, training, and development to help them grow their career. As well as our many front line care roles we also have a range of opportunities to join our growing central office team and local operational hubs. We have roles that support the recruitment, coordination, clinical oversight and management of each package of care that we deliver. There are also a range of roles to support our central office team, including clinical, quality, finance, recruitment, compliance and commercial roles. Over the past few months, Gemma has had so much to celebrate!

In July, she attended the King’s Garden Party where she had the honour of meeting Princess Anne. August brought another special moment at the Retraining of Racehorses Championships, a place where Gemma had previously competed with her own horse, but this year she proudly returned as a judge for one of the classes. Most recently, she enjoyed a brilliant day at Stanhope Show with her dog, Sage, where they came away with a second-place rosette in the fun dog classes!

At the end of this month, Gemma will be celebrating a year of being home, something made possible thanks to the amazing Apollo Home Healthcare team. Her team not only support her day-to-day but go above and beyond, helping her enjoy everything from baking and competitions to trips out, time with her animals, and physio sessions that bring her closer to her goals. 💚

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we're reflecting on how our company values, the 6 Cs, guide everything we do, from caring for others to looking after ourselves and each other too.

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we believe mental health matters just as much as physical health. Whether our team are in the office or out in the field, feeling supported and heard is essential, especially when life feels challenging.

That’s why we have trained Mental Health First Aiders across all our local offices who are there to listen, support, and help guide our team toward the right help if they need it.

Last week, our team got comfy for the day and swapped their usual work attire for pyjamas to support our Charity of the Year, When You Wish Upon a Star!

It was a fun and cosy way to bring the team together, raise awareness, and make a real difference for an incredible cause that makes magical wishes come true for children living with life-threatening illnesses. From slippers to dressing gowns, everyone got involved, showing that even small, comfy moments can have a big impact.
