Domiciliary Care Coordinator

Midas Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Care Coordinator to join an expanding Domiciliary Care Agency in order to support Registered Manager in developing and providing a high standards of care to our Service Users in the Staffordshire and Worcestershire area.You will be mainly office based in Wolverhampton with some extra community based duties as and when required.
As an experienced Care Coordinator you should have:
• Min. NVQ level 3 in care
• Min. 6 months proven experience in team leading role in care.
• Good written reporting skills and computer skills are essential.
• Full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle that you can use for work.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• To assist and formulate new care packages supporting the Registered Manager in the assessment of needs and risk assessment of new Service Users.
• To maintain accurate, concise and timely records of Service Users care and all other records relating to the operation of the company.
• To coordinate the team of Carers by updating and managing their daily work schedules via the organizational online rota system.
• To undertake On Call duties on a rota basis, providing additional Service User visits as and when required.

Job Summary for Domiciliary registered manager

Salary: £23000-29000 per year

Midas Care Solutions is a Health Care Agency based in Wolverhampton and immediately requires an honest, friendly, flexible, reliable and dedicated full time Registered Care Manager to look after operations and coordinate with staff and clients and ensure continuous service to our care customers.
We deliver care in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire postcode areas.

We have an excellent team of management and care staff, and provide high quality of care in the community, enabling people to live independently in their own homes.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of our team and will be responsible for maintaining the high quality of care our clients receive.
Job would include Overall running of the business, ensuring all Policies and Procedures are adhered to, managing all staff, recruiting and managing care staff, conducting staff training and staff supervisions, dealing with clients, conducting initial and other assessments, liaising with multi agency organisations, managing the on call system on a rota basis, preparing staff rotas, and all other relevant tasks.

The candidate would be responsible for ensuring that the company is compliant at all times with all CQC legislation .The ideal candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, and be a peoples person. They should be able to get along well with the staff and clients both. Driving license and own transport essential. Previous experience of having worked as a Registered Care Manager in a domiciliary care agency will be preferred.

Candidate should have either:
- NVQ/QCF level 5 (in health & social care), or
- Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care, or
- Previously been a Registered Care Manager in a Domiciliary Care Agency
Final salary offer will be subject to negotiation and discussed in detail at the time of interview.
