What is Paganism?

Paganism is an ancient belief pre-dating Christianity. All peoples were Pagan before organized religion. The first people worshipped Mother Earth and Father Sky. They prayed to rain gods,to the Sun and Moon. Many of course still do.
Paganism is the ancient belief in many gods or goddesses (polytheistic) or in no gods at all.Nature Love or love for Mother Earth is vital to Pagans. We believe in the interconnectedness of all living things. Natural Cycles of birth,growth and death carry profound spiritual meanings. Human Beings are a part of nature as are Animals Trees,Plants,Stone and everything that is of the Earth.

What is an example of Paganism?

Paganism is a diverse community, from Ecologists, Witchcraft, Celtic traditions, Druids, Shamans, Odinists,
Wiccans, and Heathens all of these make up the Pagan community. Pagans worship the Divine Feminine, Goddess such as Isis the Morrigan, Hecate-the triple goddess, Demeter and others, though lots of Pagans also incorporate Gods into their worship or indeed both.
Paganism is the fastest growing belief system in the world today.

Of course you ALL know I'm a Pagan.You are welcome to learn, BUT you are also welcome to just enjoy the page the pictures, Poetry, Spells and stories.
Enforcing our beliefs on others is not the Pagan way. I believe we are all free to make our own choices, to follow and believe in that which calls to our heart and soul. Faith is not a stick to beat others into indoctrination.

Photographer Angus James was fortunate enough to capture this shot. He said: "As I was pulling my lure from the fish to release back into the water I noticed two little eyes looking back at me from inside the fish's mouth. After capturing this picture, the little green tree frog leaped straight past my head onto the nearest tree. It was one of the coolest things I have seen in my life! This is one lucky frog!"
