Community Information Fair at Wombourne Library

Wombourne Library is delighted to host a Community Information Fair on Monday 27 April, 10:00am–12:00pm, bringing together a wide range of local groups and organisations under one roof. This free event is a great opportunity for residents to find out more about local services, support available in the community, and practical help with issues such as the cost of living and energy efficiency.

Visitors will be able to speak directly with representatives from organisations including Support Staffordshire, Victim Support, Beacon Vision, PCSOs, and Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust – Talking Therapies. There will also be advice on household support, dementia support, and information from the Support Staffordshire Living Well Link Worker. Legal guidance will be available from Thornes Solicitors, alongside community and environmental information from Veolia.

The fair will also feature a ‘Rescue Me’ charity sale of second-hand items, information about library volunteering, and support from local groups such as Kingsway Church, including details about their foodbank and other services. Additional organisations will be confirmed closer to the event, ensuring there’s something useful for everyone.

Whether you’re looking for advice, support, volunteering opportunities, or simply want to find out what’s happening in your community, this is a welcoming and informative event not to miss.
