The United Nations addressed human rights as one of its first issues. Human Rights Day promotes awareness of the importance of these issues around the world. While Americans benefit from freedom and basic human rights, this is not true in some other countries. As a result, on this December 10 holiday, we look to establish these rights worldwide. On this date in 1948, the UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Each year, a new theme is established for the year. In 2006, the theme is fighting poverty.

In 1948, the UN adopted its Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is a document that defines the rights of every human being in every country of the world. Per the United Nations website, this declaration proclaimed the” inalienable rights everyone is entitled to as a human being, regardless of race, color, religion, s*x, language, political or other opinions, national or social origin, property, birth, or other status.”

Today is Santa’s List Day a December 4 holiday. Santa Claus has a “Nice List” and a “Naughty List”. You never want to get on the naughty list. Have you been good all year? Have you been naughty? Or, have you been nice? Santa knows the answer. He always knows. Santa, with the help of his elves, creates the first draft of these lists by December 4 each year. Thanks to the hard work of his elves, Santa Claus creates and updates the two lists. The short list contains the names of a few children who have been naughty. A much longer list is filled with the names of children who have been good all year long.

Santa’s Elves are everywhere, checking up on children all over the world, to see who has been naughty, and who has been nice. Don’t try to see them, they are very clever in hiding as they watch to see who is naughty and who is nice. They are watching all of the time. The elves help Santa Claus to update the “Naughty List” and the “Nice List”. Changes are made to the list as needed, all the way up to about an hour before Santa leaves in his sled to deliver toys to children on the “Nice List.”

8th November calls for you to cozy up with a warm cup of frothy goodness as we celebrate National Cappuccino Day.

Whether you are planning on enjoying a pleasant and peaceful morning or a brunch with friends, a cup of cappuccino gives you the perfect fusion of bitterness and sweetness as the ideal blend of espresso, steamed milk, and foam helps you enhance each and every movement.

This popular Italian beverage got its name from the Capuchin friars because of their color of their hooded robes that resembled the drink's rich and earthy tones.

The origin of this cherished occasion remains mysterious, as there are no official records of when it was first created, with various sources providing different dates.

Bonfire Night, also known as Guy Fawkes Night, is celebrated on the 5th of November. It is a night of bonfires, fireworks, and sparklers, with families, friends, and communities, and so it's a great chance to spend time with others.

Across the UK there will be council-run firework displays, and community fireworks put on by sports clubs, churches, and other organisations. Many families will also set off fireworks in their back gardens and take part in bonfire night parties.

Day of the Dead or Dia De Los Mu***os is celebrated every year for two days from November 1 to November 2. It is believed that on this day, the souls of the deceased travel to Earth to visit their family and loved ones.

Thus, it is a joyful and colorful day when the living and dead reunite and reconnect.

Although the Day of the Dead celebration takes place in November, the preparations for the celebration begin around mid-October when people visit the graves of their deceased family members to invite them to earth.
