From rooms that feel like a home away from home to spaces that make the whole family feel welcome, our Inpatient Unit provides clinical care and comfort when it’s needed most.

Last year, the expert team cared for 347 people on our Inpatient Unit, and offered support to their loved ones. Loved ones like Flo, whose husband Jim was cared for by Compton.

Flo kindly shared their story and tells of how, despite everything happening so fast, they were made to feel so welcome and at ease on arriving at our Inpatient Unit.

Prostate cancer is most common in men over the age of 50 or from a Black African or Caribbean background, but anyone with a prostate can get it.

Prostate cancer usually develops slowly, so there may be no signs for many years, but it’s important to know the symptoms to look out for.

Early diagnosis and treatment can save lives. Contact your GP if you notice any changes in your body.
