Good morning everyone. The Sunday 7pm zoom meditation will explore how, using the power of focus and repetition, you can consciously and deliberately choose the way you feel. We will use mantra to experience the emotional shift into feeling a deeper sense of wellbeing within ourselves.
If you think about how powerfully watching the news every day makes you feel and how your feelings accumulate and grow over time as you watch the same news stories. Advertisers use the power of repetition and focus to, very successfully, make us feel what they want us to feel. Television uses both words and pictures to convey its story and as you know, we have our own inner television with both words and pictures. This meditation invites you to use your own inner voice and inner sight (insight) to create feelings of your choice that nourish and strengthen you into wellbeing, health and happiness.

Hello everyone, I'm looking forward too seeing you all tonight at the Monday evening meditation group at 7.30pm at the Trinity Methodist church on Histons Hill, Codsall.

We are on week three of a six week course which ends on 18th November. Please let me know if you would like to book for the final course of 2024 which starts at 7.30pm on Monday 25th November and runs for 4 weeks to the 16th December. £7 to book all 4 weeks or £9 drop in.

The room is at the back of the building and you enter through the polling station doors. Drive into the car park from the front of the church and go all the way round to the back where you will see my red Toyota Yaris parked outside the room.

This evening we are going to learn more about calmness and how to create it. Using your five inner senses to actively create calmness for yourself is life's most important skill. With this skill you become highly resilient and are able to enjoy life to the full.

The zoom group is at 11am on Thursday this week.

We will explore and deepen our ability at using mindfulness skills to first soften, then remove and replace painful emotion. When you use your favourite mindfulness skill to manage your emotions, your skill becomes stronger and more effective. "Use it and fuse it" into your automatic go to skill and you become resilient to life's challenging times.

The theme will be "You can live with a constant feeling of confidence that you can cope with anything and both survive and thrive. Through relaxation and awareness of how emotions work, you realise that you can relax and feel safe amidst even the hardest of times. The answer lies in the ancient "Maybe" story. The challenge, is recognising that everything is always happening to support your growth into greater health and happiness.

Remove anxiety using the skill of Attention and Intention.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the 7.30pm group this evening at J'adore pilates. We will be exploring the skill of focusing Attention and Intention. These two skills when used together enable us to remove any uncomfortable emotion, such as anxiety or depression, and replace it with the emotions of peace. The skill of Attending is the act of deliberately focusing our awareness. The skill of Intending is to deliberately hold in mind the purpose of our focused awareness. This probably sounds as clear as mud. It will all make sense tonight in the meditation.
