CARE Voices is now live 💚

Together with The Care Workers' Charity, Providers Unite has launched CARE Voices, a national platform bringing care workers, people who draw on care, and providers together in one shared space: https://www.thecareworkerscharity.org.uk/news/the-care-workers-charity-and-providers-unite-launch-care-voices-empowering-the-frontline-of-social-care/?fbclid=IwdGRjcAPjZt5jbGNrA9xJqGV4dG4DYWVtAjEwAGJyaWQRMGdLYVJNWVJSYmZJTHpWeHFzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeArqFJTQVH7gpY4Weqrh85yskEBhBqoek4VkW2vSwz8HjZrSEhWN15tQrwo0_aem_Emie2FnqSZvnDTAPNbkz-w

CARE Voices exists to strengthen communication, build community, and support collective advocacy across social and health care. 🤝

It creates a clear, consistent way for lived experience and frontline reality to be heard and used, to shape change.

This is about connection, credibility, and ensuring the voices at the heart of care are part of the conversation that affects them.

If you’re able to, please support the launch by donating or sharing 👇

Today is Blue Monday, a day often described as the most difficult day of the year, when low mood can be influenced by cold weather, dark days, and post-holiday stress.

To help combat low mood, we’re sharing a simple self-care checklist created through our Talking Therapies Plus counselling programme. It’s not about changing who you are, just making small, realistic space for yourself; whether that’s switching off from tech for a few minutes or remembering to drink more water, because little things done consistently really do support your wellbeing.

If you give it a go, we would love to hear how you get on!

The following is a 30-Day Self-Care Challenge poster with a colorful checklist of daily wellbeing activities like mindfulness, exercise, rest, connection, and healthy habits, created by Beacon and Talking Therapies Plus. There is a QR code linking to an audio description at the bottom of the poster.

🌟Happy New Year !🌟

As we welcome 2026, we want to say thank you to every member of our team who has went above and beyond this year to ensure we continue to provide the highest quality care and support.

Here’s to a new year filled with care, compassion and progress for the social care sector. Together, we’ll keep pushing for a future where every Care Worker feels valued, supported and respected.

Wishing you a happy and successful 2026!

As we move through the quiet days between Christmas and the New Year, 28 December is often a moment to pause and reflect.

Across the country, care and support services are still running 24/7.
People still need care.
Staff are still showing up.
Providers are still holding services together, often at breaking point.

As we head into a new year, Providers Unite is clear about what must change if social care is to survive and thrive.

Our demands are simple and essential:

🔹 No further financial burden on care and support providers
🔹 Full ringfencing of Fair Pay funding, so it reaches employers and staff directly
🔹 People at the centre of reform, with lived experience shaping every decision

Social care is not a “nice to have”. It is the backbone of our communities, our NHS, and our economy.

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re not stepping back, we’re building momentum for real change in 2026.

💚 If you believe social care deserves a sustainable future, join us!

📢 Share this post and help keep social care on the agenda.
