Roots to Freedom brings people together through land-based gatherings, community, and shared experiences.

It is rooted in ancestry and remembrance, creating spaces to reconnect, build relationships, and remember the freedom that is our birthright. This community focused project has evolved and changed over the years, yet the concept has remained the same. It started from a Yoga studio & juice bar which held a wealth of events from kids workshops, addiction recovery courses, meditation, yoga, teen yoga

, music, dance, community allotments, nutrition talks with experts in their field and honestly so much more. This evolved into festivals for all the family and continues to do so. At the core is land and community connection as we navigate this ever changing world. when we unite in community spaces, a place to express without judgment, whether in dance, making friendships around the fire, sharing your own voice in creativity. or attending a workshop, retreat or taking part in a pilgrim. This has been going for over 10 years and will continue to organically flow

An honour to welcome Mauricio & Julia Diniz to the Solstice Temple Gathering on the 19th-22nd June .wild.retreat

Mauricio Arciniega was born in the Valley of the Yuma river, in Gigante Huila, Colombia, where he grew up on a cacao farm surrounded by the natural rhythms of the land. From an early age he was drawn to the sacred, visiting ancestral sites and immersing himself in the wisdom of indigenous tribes across Colombia — including the Ingas, Kamentsa, Witoto, Koguis and Wayuu — as well as communities in Ecuador, Peru and Brazil. Each encounter deepened his connection to plant medicine, ancestral practices and the sacred elements of Earth and Fire.

Since 2012 he has brought these teachings to the United Kingdom, founding The Green Path as a space to share transformative wisdom in a safe, respectful and authentic way. Through ceremony, healing sessions and workshops, Mauricio supports people on their journey toward wholeness, connection and spiritual awakening

The Hapé ceremony is a sacred invitation to connect with Mother Earth and channel the healing spirit of the jungle. Through the ancient wisdom of plant medicine, we open a space of deep listening

Claire Mary is NLP Coach, Therapist and social worker, dedicated to guiding individuals through transitions, coming home to your voice and helping you to create a life filled with authentic expression and joy.

With over nine years of experience, she specializes in helping children and adults move through challenging emotions, unhealthy habits, trauma, and low self-esteem.

As a Sacred Breathwork practitioner she is passionate about offering safe spaces, rooted in ancestral healing. Understanding how our body holds the codes to profound ancestral wisdom, she knows that by returning to the safety of your bodies, you can release the codes that define your original divine blueprint, allowing you to release what no longer serves you to embody and integrate change, so you can shine your light confidentially into the world.

Claire will be offering a sacred, gentle breath ceremony that guides people back into safety of their own body, unlocking the wisdom and codes within, allowing us to come home to our voice, our ancestry and recalibration.

Welcoming our Soul Sister to the Solstice Temple Gathering 🪷

Nikki is an adaptive and inclusive teacher with 20 years of practicing and studying yoga and 6 years of teaching. Nikki believes that inclusivity can be shared through yogic practices and change lives. Small actions from love can change big systems.

Yoga Nidra also known as yogic sleep creates a deep meditative state where you can explore your own wellbeing and subconscious. Safely guided by Nikki, you are free to roam you different states of consciousness and go as deep as you require or not. This is a safe and inclusive practice that is available to everyone no matter age, body, life experience.

Welcoming the wonderful Dusk to our Solstice Temple gathering, bringing connection and unity with through some sweet folk acoustics. 🪻

Dusk, an Italian-born guitarist and singer now based in Brighton, shapes intricate fingerpicked melodies into honest reflections of love and the human heart. His guitar and voice entwine to carry stories of longing and belonging, offering moments of quiet truth and connection.

Here is a little teaser of the site we will be holding the Solstice Temple Gathering on the 19th-22nd June ..wild.retreat

It's a unique community gathering as it includes a pilgrim on the solstice to a very old temple site where we will honour those that came before us from a 7000 Yr period which held Temple sites over 5000 yrs! From the bronze age, to the celtic era right up until the Roman Temple which also honoured the Goddess minerva (more on that at a later date)

We have some special musicians, workshop facilitator's, artists, ceremonies space holders and much more to co create this summer solstice celebration with us

A range of ticket options available so go check it out :) remember your breakfast and dinner is included for the weekend, so is your sauna! There will also be options to purchase food onsite at other times or bring your own.

Welcoming the man, the legend to our Solstice Temple gathering at .wild.retreat offering us a feel good set 🦅

Jonny is a DJ/producer/promoter who started buying underground House and Garage music on vinyl in the mid 90s, inspired by the London underground clubbing scene and went on to play on pirate radio stations and run events throughout the late 90’s and 00’s. He Became a co-producer and ran a record label for many years and now plays at more conscious, sober events with an eclectic selection of House music with a funky, tribal, techy fusion to get your DNA vibrating!

So grateful to have this dear brother coming in and sharing his arts in a good way and when hes not playing out a set you will find him around doing all things tech related . 🪷

Charlotte Emily Rose .emily.rose1 is author of the book “WELL-BEING”. In the past few years she has uncovered a town’s buried water heritage in the finding of 100 of its forgotten and wells. The unearthing of the wells, brought to light so much that had been buried with them. She is actively working on the restoration of divine flow through the waters and devotes her free time to clearing wells and helping life return to WELL-BEING.

"I will be offering a water ceremony and bringing Unity Water to this. This potent water contains drops from thousands of wells, rivers, lakes and springs from all over Earth, gathered by thousands of people in love and gratitide and a prayer for the restoration of divine flow"

And

"I will be offering a talk on wells, water and true well-being. I will share what working directly with the waters has taught me about our buried heritage and the essence of who we truly are. I will be encouraging all to embark on a similar treasure hunt in their villages and towns, and in their own beings. Together, we can all work to restore well-being, divine flow, unity and harmony through the waters and the body of all life on Earth."
