Our very own Sarah delivered her annual โKeeping Ears Healthyโ talk at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (RBC) on 17th September.
Sarah has worked with both the RBC and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) for many years, sharing her expertise on hearing health with new music students to help them protect their hearing throughout their careers.
Her sessions always make a lasting impact, as she draws upon her experience setting up the original hearing monitoring programme for CBSO and her own personal journey in music, living and performing with single-sided permanent hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis, and distortion issues.
Here she is, pictured here with Shirley Thompson (Vice Principal, Music) on the left and Christina Hancock (Performance Department Manager) on the right.
๐ A huge thank you to RBC for continuing to champion hearing health in the music industry! And, as always to Sarah for inspiring the next generation to care for their most important instrument! ๐ต
