Happy Tuesday ☀️ from sunny Suffolk

🧘🏻‍♀️ Pilates is accessible to all and helps with various musculoskeletal conditions such as back and neck pain

🧘🏻‍♀️ Pilates improves your core strength, flexibility, posture and body control

🧘🏻‍♀️ Pilates is a low impact exercise activity which can be modified for the individual

🧘🏻‍♀️ I incorporate breathing control, mindfulness and relaxation into my classes which can improve and promote positive mental health 💫

🧘🏻‍♀️In addition to Physiotherapy led classes I also instruct 1:1 and 2:1 for a more tailored Pilates approach

🧘🏻‍♀️ Clients can join from out of area as I have a virtual class option

Hello 👋🏻 thought I’d introduce the face behind ruth.may.pilates

I’m Ruth, a wife and mum to two small girls living on the east coast of Suffolk.

I graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2005 and have 18 years of clinical experience. I currently work for as the Centre Lead Physiotherapist for our Woodbridge and Aldeburgh clinics.

I have always been passionate about rehabilitation and exercise which stems from my gymnastics background. I competed as a sports acrobatic gymnast in my younger years to a national level representing Wales. This led me to pursuing a career in Physiotherapy and specialising In Musculoskeletal conditions.

I trained with the Australian Pilates Physiotherapy Institute and have 13 years of instructing Mat based Pilates.

I currently lead classes at Charsfield Village Hall IP13 and for those that cannot attend in person I offer a live zoom link or recording of the session.
