🍂✨ Our Autumn Wishing Tree is filling up with wonderful ideas!

Our residents came together to share their wishes:
🦉 Pete hopes for another trip to the Owl Sanctuary.
🎹 Perry wishes for the talented Nick to return and play piano.
🌊 Linda dreams of a seaside trip with fish & chips before winter arrives.
🐾 Margaret wishes for a ZooLab visit to meet the animals up close.

Over the coming months, we’ll be working hard to make these special wishes come true 💜

Our residents had the pleasure of meeting the Memory Lane Singers! 🎶

Everyone loved listening to their wonderful voices, joining in with the songs, and even having a little dance. Sandy, Doreen, Shirley M, Perry, Angela, Joy, Joan, Jonathan, Rosemary G, Linda, and Pauline M all had a fantastic time making song requests and singing along.

The music brought back lots of happy memories, and residents also enjoyed playing along with instruments 🥁✨

We can’t wait to welcome the Memory Lane Singers back again soon! 💜

🎨 Art morning fun!

Residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative making beautiful tree collages. First, we headed into the garden to gather natural materials - leaves, twigs, branches, acorns, and more. Back inside, everyone shared ideas on how to use them and then got stuck in! 🍂✨

The finished collages looked absolutely amazing and were a joy to see 🌳💜

Our residents got very creative this afternoon with some beautiful Autumn tree painting 🍂🎨

Pete, Linda, Angela, Rosemary G, Shirley M, Sandy, and Pauline M loved chatting about what Autumn means to them and how the trees change this time of year. They shared ideas, chose colours together, and turned their work into true masterpieces.

When finished, they asked for their paintings to be displayed in our dining room — and they look amazing! 🌟

Residents had a fantastic afternoon shopping in Woodbridge! 🛍️✨

Linda, Sandy, Rosemary G, and Pauline M enjoyed browsing the shops and picking out some lovely items. Linda laughed as she tried on a pair of sunglasses, asking, “Do these suit me?” 😎

Sandy chose a beautiful flower scarf, Pauline M found a great book, Linda picked up a stylish leopard print scarf, and Rosemary was delighted with some puzzles.

Everyone was so happy with their purchases and agreed it was a wonderful day out! 💜

Residents enjoyed learning about the Astronomy! 🪐🌎

First, residents enjoyed watching a documentary on Astronomy and the solar system, they all discussed about what they were learning something that they never knew! 🌟

Once the documentary had finished, residents loved creating their own solar systems.. We also enjoyed joining in with an Astronomy quiz testing their knowledge 🧠

Residents really enjoyed our knit and natter session with the lovely Alison!

Residents loved talking with her about their progress and just having a general natter.
Linda is doing an amazing job with her blanket and she is very proud of it.

Shirley T loves to come to the knit and natter sessions because she enjoys the chat and also the cake and tea.

Everyone does an amazing job and they all really enjoy it every week 💜🙌

🎶 Happy Country Music Day! 🎶

Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying some toe-tapping country and western tunes! 🎸✨

Pauline, Linda, Shirley, Sandy, and Rosemary joined in the fun, learning some line dancing moves from our activities coordinator. They followed her steps with enthusiasm and even showcased their new skills to the rest of the home!

The joy didn’t stop there, everyone loved watching some exciting line dancing competitions. Linda even said, "Maybe we could be like them one day!" 🌟

It’s moments like these that bring our community together and create lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who participated! 💖

Residents loved having Nala the cat to visit us, she was exploring the home and loving being around all of the residents, having cuddles and being a fuss made of.

Perry lost her chair because Nala had made herself comfortable in it, Perry thought this was very amusing 😅

Angela also loved seeing Nala as she also adore cats.

Residents enjoyed taking with the owner and thanked her for bring Nala in for us to see! 🐈

Residents were very creative and they enjoyed redecorating the wishing tree and changing it into our Autumn wishing tree 🍁😍

Linda, Sandy, Pauline M, & Shirley M had so much fun with sticking on all of the Autumn leaves and acorns.

They had moments they would share their memories with each other and it was beautiful. Ending results of this tree is amazing and the residents love it.

🌟 "It brightens up the room" said Pauline 🌟
