Yoga Classes, Private Yoga, Workshops, Yoga Retreats - Based in Woodbridge - Suffolk My classes are student centered.
I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years, and teaching for over 9 years. I find yoga a great way to release any stress or tension in the body whilst also calming my mind. Yoga is a comprehensive practice designed to increase flexibility, tone, strengthen the core, soothe the mind and nourish the soul. I believe in allowing each student time to develop in their own way. Variations and modifications are given if needed. I passionately believe and take pride in welcoming all students whether a beginner or an advanced practitioner. I aim to create a welcoming and fun environment for all. I enjoy making sure there are options for those that want to take it easier and also options for those that want to challenge themselves further in their practice. Qualifications
*BA Hons Degree in Business & German
*Certified Yoga Teacher – Ashtanga Vinyasa (RYT 200)
*Certified Natural Movement / MovNat Instructor (MCT)
*Certified Deep Tissue & Holistic Massage Therapist

How to not get too stiff from lifting weights, running, other exercise and just living actually! 😄
✨Keep stretching little and often
I will still get muscle soreness but the stiffness is always massively reduced if I stretch little and often outside of my yoga practice 🧘

My new home 🏡🎉
I'm joking 😜 although it could have come in handy this week! 😅
This is what I stumbled upon today on my run. Buildings based on archaeological evidence from the Iron age to the Saxon period.
I haven't been to the forest in ages and although it was very wet and I got very wet, it totally reset me.
I really do feel it's my place for refreshing and rejuvenation, body, mind and soul 🥰🌲🌲🌲
It's always so interesting when a place that is very expansive, there is always something new to discover and also so many changes with the different seasons 🌲😍
Reminder for me today was to keep getting outside, being adventurous and discovering new environments 🌲🌲🌲

🪷Challenges are what makes life interesting
🪷Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful
Sometimes, it's challenges that we did not create ourselves and maybe challenges that are beyond our control.
We can either say there is nothing we can do or we can just get on and go to plan b & c.
And always remember to breathe!

🪷NEW CLASS ALERT🪷
Join me for a 5 week course
🪷Yoga for building strength & improving flexibility
Starting Monday 23rd February - 6pm at Rendlesham Community Hall.
✔️No yoga experience is needed
✔️All levels will be catered for
✔️You will learn specific drills and skills and gain greater body awareness and understanding.
✔️Class is limited to 10 students so I can provide hands on adjustments and a tailored approach.
✔️It won't be about pushing yourself beyond your limit but more about learning safe progression for you.
I do smile & laugh normally in real life so trying to show it more in my pictures and not look so 'moody' ALL the time 😁
Thoughts on my frosty & beautiful morning walk today ❄️
💙If we criticise something about ourselves, then let's make it better
💙Ask family and friends questions. Learn and understand people and build those relationships. Will be a massive gift to them and ourselves.
💙Give people the benefit of the doubt. Everyone is owed a second chance, maybe not a third....
💙To be 'successful', make your own defination of success. Every person's idea of success will be different.
💙Enjoy doing 'nothing' or not much with people that you love and care for.
💙Find your 'why' for living and nothing will stop you
💙Cheapest therapy is to spend time with people who make you laugh and feel good.
💙Lastly, go for a walk for gaining ideas and creativity. It empties the mind and then creates space for new things.
Happy Tuesday 😘

The question I asked myself today was did I want to experience some level of pain today...??
The quality of our lives are not determined by the quality of just our positive experiences, but the quality of our negative / challenging experiences.
To get better at dealing with negative experiences is to get better at dealing with life.
So, I did a little 10k run in the snowy and icy weather and it was beautiful.
If we want the benefits of something in life, we have to also want the costs associated with it.

If you like hardcore... Try the 2nd exercise 💪
Had some time today for a bit of creative play. This is so important for me, as a student and a teacher.
It helps me to experiment and try out new ideas so I can see how it feels & works, for me.
It also helped me to add to my little book of torture 😜 which is getting bigger day by day. I know how excited some of you will be to get back into your practice after holiday time 🥳😘

Hip mobility, strength, control & increasing end range work is tough but fun 😅
Remember, to improve flexibility, strength is required 💪 they go hand in hand.
Group Classes are back to normal from next week. I'm looking forward to getting back to my more structured working week & routine. Hopefully, you are too 😘

A very dynamic and fast paced yoga founded by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore Yoga in India.
When movement (Vinyasa), posture (Asana) and breath are used together, the energy carries the body smoothly and effortlessly. Each Vinyasa is supported either by an inhalation or an exhalation, thus creating a nice flow.
Emphasis is on flow and intensity, and is incredibly exhilarating. While focusing on the breath, muscle contraction and the flow, an incredible heat and sweat is developed that is powerfully toning and invigorating.
Vinyasa Flow
My vinyasa flow class sequences vary each time. We create a focus on breathing and self energy while targeting specific areas of the body. The movements flow and the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale we can interpret this as a connection between movement and breath.
Gentle Hatha Flow
Take time for yourself to stretch deeply and improve your breathing. Great way to relax and calm your mind and body creating peace. The first part of the class is a gentle flow to include sun salutations and standing postures. The second part of the class will be more focused on gentle stretches that will work more on the connective tissues (tendons, fascia & ligaments) of the body as opposed to using muscle strength – with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. It will be slow, gentle and deeply relaxing. You will feel nicely stretched. At the end we have a short pranayama (breathing) practice and mediation to help you feel refreshed and re-energised for the rest of your day.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in. No footwear needed, yoga is done in barefeet.
Mat: If you have your own mat, please bring it along. I have some spare mats available, please let me know in advance if you need to borrow one.
