Meet Arjun 💙
You may have just seen Arjun’s mum, Meena, share her story about how we support Arjun and their family at Bluebird Care Docklands, Stratford & Wapping.
Our carers absolutely love supporting Arjun and spending time with him. He is joyful, fun, and always has a cheeky smile that brightens everyone’s day 😊
One of Arjun's regular carers Carole said "I enjoy supporting Arjun; he is always happy and excited, especially knowing that he will be doing an activity, whether it’s playing in the park or going swimming. I have learned that he is very focused and aware of his surroundings. For example, when we travel, we usually take two buses, and he is able to remember both the journey and our destination. He is also very vigilant, showing a strong sense of awareness throughout our trips."
Arjun enjoys being as independent as possible, and our carers are there to gently support and encourage him. Whether it’s helping him pay for his sweets at the shop or choose what he fancies—ice cream or his favourite treats—these small moments make a big difference in building his confidence and independence.
He also loves getting out and about, especially enjoying walks through his local parks, where he can relax, explore, and have fun.
It’s a privilege to be part of Arjun’s journey and to support him in living life his way 💫
