The great British summer......the schools have broken up, trips are planned and the call of far distant lands beckons! So here are a few tips to help make your holiday as happy and pain free as possible:
Sitting in a car or on a plane can leave you stiff and sore, so try to keep your back straight and pop in a small cushion or a rolled up jumper for some back support.
Whether it's a stroll down the airplane aisle or a stop at the services, remember to move about and stretch to boost your circulation.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep dehydration at bay.
Wear sandals rather than flip flops which can trip you up.
If you have a lower back problem, try not to lie on your stomach on a sun lounger as this can have an adverse effect on your lower back.
