Following a high volume of enquiries regarding the MenB (meningitis B) vaccine, we would like to provide the following clarification:
Patients born before 2015 are not eligible for routine MenB vaccination under the current NHS immunisation schedule.
At present, there is no directive from NHS England to implement a wider vaccination programme in response to recent outbreaks. However, the vaccine can be accessed privately should you wish to arrange this independently.
We will provide updates via our website and pages if there are any changes to current guidance.
If you would like information regarding your child or children’s immunisation records, please visit the surgery with photo identification. We can then assist you in setting up proxy access via the NHS App.
